Who Rode Today?

And back on topic, I rode the GT tonight. Having a heat wave out here on the coast... hit 27°C today.

The third ride of the season. I left at 0700 and it was about 47°F. I am unsure what the temperature hit as I made it home but it heated faster than the forecast predicted. (I look carefully at the predicted changes to try and make the best clothing decisions.) It was full sun and I was beginning to sweat with the warm liner still installed and the suit vents still closed.

I found this new spot while mindlessly exploring.

Hi. I went to MOM's motorcycles to pick up my daughters new Indian Scout. It was a 50 mile ride back to her house. So it was a good day.

I took the 'ol beast out for a short ride-short because I'm still making sure it won't leave me on the side of the road again...so far so good...

It seems to have a little more zip to it too....

I stopped by the hardware store and some joker on a big metric cruiser rode over to me and asked me what my bike was, I told him what it was and he said "are they a 600?"

I said "yep." and after a little casual chatter, off he went thinking a Hayabusa is a 600.....I should have chased him down and showed how fast this "600" is but I had better things to do...

The baton and I went out for a tear today.....the bike didn't have any issues or shut down...........yet........

The area I live in was a huge logging area....most of the water front is formed from saw dust.....there are huge timbers on display in other places of which I'll get a picture of sometime soon....they aren't accessible by motorcycle....only on foot....
