Not today, got back Saturday. Had to ride around my favorite mountain passes in the Sierras to get home! Hiway 4 opened just today. Here’s a shot of the Tioga pass, hiway 120 inside the Park. Not in a hurry for another ride just yet. We contracted the Noro virus somewhere along the way and I’m just about over it. I lost 14 pounds! These mostly sky shots are throughout the Navajo Res in northern AZ and southern UT, Monument Valley. The cloud formations were incredible. You could stand in one spot and in just a few minutes the sky would change completely. Pics don’t do them justice. One speed run was from Caliente NV to Tonopah. My trip meter read 199.2 and I took 5.081 gallons. CA models have a slightly smaller tank. The Kawasaki with only a 4.5 gallon tank but getting better mileage matched that mileage but

started to run rough as we entered Tonopah, no foolin, another mile and we both would’ve run dry. Prolly shouldn’t have averaged 85+…..look at the route if you want and you’ll see why.

The baton and I went out for a tear today.....the bike didn't have any issues or shut down...........yet........

The area I live in was a huge logging area....most of the water front is formed from saw dust.....there are huge timbers on display in other places of which I'll get a picture of sometime soon....they aren't accessible by motorcycle....only on foot....

I think your Fi light coming on and stalling issues are behind you now so just enjoy your rides worry free!

Yesterday i rode alone, Liltlle highway in Germany ( next to my dutch border) so had some fun, but coming back in Holland i passed around 6 different copcars and 2 motorcycle cops who turned around right away when they passed my B-King....guess it was a good day with the weather to get some cash of motorcycles....Today i road with my buddy who has a gen 1, we switched bikes at the end, and damn....a Busa steers way more heavy then the B-King....but nice ride, good weather and offcourse through germany where speed isn't a reall issue.

My wife and I look after a lady who was born in Holland in the '40s....actually 3 of her 4 siblings were born there..

We attended the memory of life for her older sister who recently passed away and there was a story told of her as a little girl gathering coal at the harbor during the war...German soldiers wouldn't let her brother gather the coal but she was allowed...

I remember talking to her over the years and she mentioned one time they were able to get a turnip but had nothing to cook it with so they ate it raw and that was their meal for the day...her sister who we look after says that's the only way she'll eat turnip even today...

I also recall talking to lots of Canadian WW2 vets that went into Holland during the war and they said it was pretty bad there as people were starving in the streets....they gave up all their food to help.

I nice ride into the unknown, went North from London then into the countryside and kept going for 90 miles through small towns and villages some I have never heard off, came across a lovely reservoir in a place called Tring, goggle maps to find out exactly where I was lookes like a completed a big loop and only 1 hour 30 from home
