Who Rode Today?

How was the stand on your Ducati?

My friends 916 had a really vertical stand....he was always scared it'd fall over....

Too straight down and too short! A strong breeze could’ve knocked it over. There was a guy who rode his MV racer up to Alice’s Restaurant on the weekends and he brought a wedge of wood to place under his side stand. His side stand was way too short too. I guess that’s why companies make adjustable aftermarket side stands. The side stand leg on my 79 CBX had quite a bit of a bow causing the bike to lean over way too far. I took it to a welder who welded a pencil sized solid steel bar down the back side after heating and bending it back straight. Leveled the pad on the end too. Much better!

I rode to work and home the other day. No rain in sight………. Never fails

Today I saw a mama black bear and her tiny little cub cross the road up ahead of me. As I got close to the spot I looked into the bush on the right hoping they might still be there. When I returned my focus to the road a SECOND tiny cub was about to run under my wheels! Fortunately in that split second we both managed to swerve a little bit and disaster was avoided but HOLY CRAP that was close. No damage done except for those shorts that I won't be wearing again.

Hi. Very sorry to here about the bikes falling over. Very sad. Went for a ride in RI. About 90 miles. I was on the Vulcan my daughter was on her Indian Scout. We were at where she keeps her horses. Photos not loading post later..

Yes.... I still have the R3. No... my gf has not been riding it LOL

It is still under 2300 miles and all of those miles were put on by me. I modded it a bit and got rid of the exhaust, sounds much deeper now with just the tip. Love riding this thing, like a bicycle for me (6'3 265lbs)!

Awesome little bike...

I took the 'ol Bumblebitch out for a ride and it didn't quit and leave me on the side of the road so that's a good thing.....

I will definitely need to get the maps in my ECU adjusted as I seem to have gotten used to to maps in the Bazzaz and how the bike ran on those....

I find the throttle snatchy and abrupt now.....and seems to have a slight hesitation now....I guess I got spoiled....

I have wondered if a tuner has a gen 2 canned fuel map to load to our ECU by mail?
I know Moore Mafia does, he has advertised this...

When I send my ECU to him I have to fill out a form letting him know what I want and what mods I have...

He said the canned maps will get close to what I need...if I could have sent him a copy of the map from my Bazzaz, he could have replicated it in the ECU...

But, the Bazzaz isn't communicating with my lap top so I can't pull the maps.

Wonder if I could put my map from my pcv into the Maxx until I bring it to get tuned? I wouldn’t ride it like that but just for a closer to tuned map.
