I used to frequent bike wreckers looking for parts, many of them crushed the bikes with fatalities. But there were some pretty wrecked bikes there.

I remember seeing a bike packed with clay which had hardened like cement. He said that guy went too hot into a corner, couldn’t handle it and ended up in a farmer’s field upright and stuck. He said it was a real tough job to get it out of there

in an ideal world yes that would be done but we only had about 6 or 7 motors to do the charity ride and had more than a hundred motorcycles. unfortunately an accordion effect occurs when you are going from one street to another or what ever the reason and gaps happen. we always try to shorten that gap up but we are also leap frogging to the next major intersection which is the prioristy. smaller side streets are not really an issue. this one of course not withstanding. fact is this guy was at another side street when he had to first wait so he got mad, turned around and tried to get up to another street. he got blocked of course got mad and then floored it trying to get across. keep in mind my motor was in the area of that side street and was enough to keep traffic stopped. but he was like 80 years old and an sugar. so i got plowed for the effort. sucks, i can say i would rather have had a broken arm or something over a severe tbi. i wouldnt wish that on anyone
