Yoshimura 4-2-1-2 with help from Vance & Hines

this might be a dumb question, but if you have V&H headers and Yosh cans. What do you map it to? the headers or the cans? also what is the purpose and function of the O2 bung? Do i have to mess with it in any way? Also price of V&H headers?

Sorry for the noob questions but im trying to learn everything about my busa

Exactly! From my first post: "I love the look of the R-77 slip ons and I really like the look of the dual cans."

It's a personal preference thing. I'd like to lose weight, pick up some power gains and keep the look of the dual silencers. Yoshimura's R-77 is one of my favorites. With the Vance and Hines Performance Headers I can have a dual full system using the R-77 slip-ons.

Test_Eng if you get in touch with Yosh USA and give them the model number of the slip-ons you want they can get them for you.
I was a VERY die-hard dual can kinda guy......but went with a tucked in yosh 4-1 system because my wife was burning her legs/shoes on my wide dual cans. The hp increase is off the scale sotp wise, and so is the HUGE weight loss and tremendous diff in handling  And the single can tucked in tight makes the bus look lean and mean...and gives it an awesome fat tire look from behind. Plus chain maintainence and wheel cleaning is a WHOLE lot easier now :beerchug:

Man....You hit my future setup on the head. This is exactly what I'm looking for also right down to the carbon fiber R-77's'. I won't ever go away from the dual can look. Think the single looks akward and unbalanced. +1 on headers not available for GENIs' yet till June. At least thats what I've been told from my queries to distributers. Please...please keep this thread posted on your progress. Thank you Sir!!

Emailed Brock asking about the Full Dual CT-Series exhaust for the Gen 1 like they offer for the Gen 2. He said they are working on it right now but no dates for when will be released to the public.

Here's the last from Vance & Hines: The pipe has been "slightly delayed and won't be available until late summer early fall".

Tired of waiting, I would have liked to keep my dual cans but I don't think that's going to happen. Who has the best price on a full Yosh R77 system, stainless can with carbon tip? Anybody interested in purchasing some R77 slip-ons, only 3 months old, stainless cans with carbon tip?

Hmmm.....I subscribed to this thread to see what the outcome would be. Too bad about V&H product falling into the end of the year.

Not in any big hurry though. Appreciate the updates though. Keep em coming!

Guess Yoshimura doesn't read this board. ???

Imagine how many guys will buy a V&H header to strap Yosh cans on.

Yeah....I'm more interested in just finding out when V&H releases their headers. Their current system has a great sound to it. But I'm not feeling the cans enough to warrant purchasing their full system.

I been in constant contact with eddie kraweic about the headers soon as released I will post up..

I have there cs one slip on on my zx10, and love it. if they bring a full sys. out for the busa I would own that also.

so... Let me get this straight..
If we were to purchase just the V&H headers, any other company's slip-ons would fit it, because its shape (or outlet sizes) is exactly the same as OEM?
Akrapovic, TiForce, Brocks, Heat Magic.. who ever, as long as they are slip-ons designed to work with the stock headers?
That sounds really awesome.. Just wanting to make sure I'm understanding what I've just read 5 pages worth of.

Yes....that's the theory here. Be pretty cool huh!? :cheerleader:

Well we are all being patient waiting. So hang tight, keep an eye on this thread and pray it doesn't go another 5 pages before we get a definitive answer.

But this is has an H not an X collector though right?
That's what it looks like.
Does anyone make a header with an X instead of the H that would work just like this?
It'd be nice to compare them against each other.
ooo or like the TiForce full system with the X, and then the V&H with just the TiForce cans.
Or an Akrapovic..
I've currently trying to decide between the Akrapovic dual full system and the TiForce dual full system...

I wonder which one is slacking more, Vance or Hines?
Someone needs a kick in pants!
