Yoshimura 4-2-1-2 with help from Vance & Hines

But this is has an H not an X collector though right?
That's what it looks like.
Does anyone make a header with an X instead of the H that would work just like this?
It'd be nice to compare them against each other.
ooo or like the TiForce full system with the X, and then the V&H with just the TiForce cans.
Or an Akrapovic..
I've currently trying to decide between the Akrapovic dual full system and the TiForce dual full system...

I wonder which one is slacking more, Vance or Hines?
Someone needs a kick in pants!

Your going to confuse everyone. You have it backwards. Most all the manufactures are currently making their systems w/ the X design. If you want a true H style header, you'd have to get it custom made. i.e TruWrecks set-up.
You only need to back to your own post and read his post #34 for an explanation. https://www.hayabusa.org/forum/engine-performance-mods/115141-exhaust-system-need-assistance.html

And if you don't want to wait to see what comes of the V&H header.....your decision to go w/ either the Akro or the TiForce full systems is a win-win situation. After all they are two of the most reputable, quality systems you can get.

No, you're confused, that's not what I was asking.
Let me rephrase then..

What I wanted to know was if any other manufacturers, that used the X-pipe design, were able to use any slip-on.
The V&H doesn't have different cans, they are the regular slip-ons, that just slip-on to their header.
Does anyone else make a header, that could do the same thing?
That's what I'm asking.
Could I take a Yoshi header and put 2 D&D cans on it?
Is this a special ability of the V&H pipes only?
Like a Universal donor for exhaust systems

And don't link my own thread to me.
I started that thread, I know where it is.

:eh: I suppose I was confused. This whole thread has become confusing now. I apologize if I came across the wrong way.

It seems you have it figured out. :sarcasm: If not.... maybe someone else can help you.

Its ok.

The answer will probably be NO anyway.
I think the full systems everyone else makes have different outlet diameters, so you wouldn't be able to mix and match cans with other full system headers.
Unless you found 2 different systems that had the same ends at the same angles and everything. But then why bother using the other brand's headers if they're the same damn thing?
I guess we'll just have to wait until these come out to see how they measure up.
I did find this, while sifting through the inter-webs
Vance & Hines 4:2 Performance Header | 73-107-15 | Exhaust | Pipe City
taking preorders for June 2009 at $399

And this one, which seems to be a part of the V&H site, but lets you add the headers to the cart and start the check out process...
Vance & Hines: Performance Exhaust Systems

Can't wait to see what our sponsors can hook us up with

so is this available? im on the list for the group buy. EXACTLY what i am looking for! is there a link that i can just buy it now, or do any ofthe sponsors offer them?

The only place I've found where it acts like you can buy them is from that vhmotorsports link above.
But you pay the MSRP for it, and I don't know if they'll actually send you one, or just put you on a pre-order list.
The site doesn't say, and I didn't complete the check out either.

The other site I linked had the pre-orders for $399.
So I bet our sponsors could get them to us for probably the same amount or close to it.

V&H needs to get a test unit to one of our guys so everyone can see how it stacks up against other MFG's headers.

You can give Daniel a call @ Cloudnine. He'll let you know what's up.
Just ask him what slip-ons will work w/ the V&H header. I know there are a few that will.

i called my local suzuki dealer, he can order the v&h now and they work with the stock cans which means they will work with my r-77's. ordering monday, ill update as i go.
