08-busa project

I got started on my air box mods and NOS system today. They really cleaned up the air box on the 2008. The remember all the dremel work needed on my 2006. No need for the small or large air box mod. Went with a set of super short stacks, Pipercross RACE filter and the Adams Spray Bar along with a Brock's shower head and 3an NOS bulk head fitting.

How much benefit are the super short stacks over OEM and how much of a nos shot are you anticipating on putting on this beast.

The shorter the stack the further up in the RPM range your peak power moves. Nothing to be measured alone on the dyno but if you watch power curves and try to move them it helps. For those pinning the throttle often its just another tool in a series...

Just a small shot.

Can u pm me a price for them or list it here I am a straight track racer where it is pinned WAO all the time. And I look for every edge I can. believe it or not the zx14 competition here is fierce and there are some pretty fast ones around. Keep up the great work the build looks super as all of your work does and am loking forward to seing the finished product. Thanks:bowdown:

PM sent..thank you for the compliment. Many guys have built these bikes over the last 10 years. I am hoping this edition shows some good results.

FYI, Jet Hot is ceramic coating, coated on the inside and outside. Gloss or Flat black look really good.

Thanks, I was just at thier web-site digging around for more info,

Did you do the whole pipe, or just the muffler segment, and did they remove and re-rivet the Yosh badge on it?

dude it looks awesome, I can only imagine how it sounds:bowdown:...lol...

Be sure to use this fitting on your NOS shower head. The push-lock's don't seem to hold when the PSI is in the 900 range. Flow tested the unit while mounted on the bike yesterday and the lines kept popping off. Just saving you some do over time.

We did the whole pipe inside and out. Removed the badge before shipping. Thanks a bunch

I should get up some sound clips during tuning shortly. I am hoping it flows good enough for us for the big-bore. On motor we should be fine we will really watch EGT's while on the spray.
