08 Stolen today

My 08 was stolen today at work between 10:30 and 11:15 this morning. 10:30 was the last time one of my co-workers saw it and 11:15 is when I discovered it stolen. So much for the Scorpio alarm/pager because that didn't stop the thieving bastard for taking it....it never went off! U.S. Government building and no freakin outside security cameras just inside to watch the employees (LEOs). My only consolation is that I have a good insurance policy and I will be able to get another Busa if this one isn't found, it still hurts, upset would be about the mildest word to describe how I feel. I know that if she isn't recovered in the next 24 hours she's never going to be found, the bastards are probably parting her out now.

Sorry to hear about your loss. It always amazes me when people take something from someone that is just trying to go to work and do the right thing.. Why do people think they have the right to take what's your's?? Hopefully the people(s) involved will lose a limb or two and never do it to anyone else.

Spoke to the insurance agent and THANK GOD!!! I have 100% replacement and $5000 for accessories (have to provide receipts which I have all, even every fuel receipt). Agent says as soon as Claim Adjuster calls I get a rental car whether I need it or not, get it as it will speed up the claim. Who knows? My main question was about replacement which he said they will replace it with a brand new Busa. This is a first for me so I will keep everyone posted as to how this goes.

My biggest fear with the busa and living where I do is having her stolen from me. When I first moved to Las Vegas everything was stolen from me when someone stole my moving trailer so I kind of know what you're going through. Hopefully your insurance company pulls through for you and you find an 09 that you like!

Glad to at least hear your insurance is looking at for you. Believe it or not we have had 3 or 4 bikes stolen off post here in the past week. Hope you get your refun check ASAP bro!!!!!!

I tell you guys i dont have a garage and mine wont fit in the house. I have a disc lock, a thick as chain through the swing arm locked to one of those in ground gaurd dog locks that I installed into my concrete, and LoJack with early warning protection on it. It sits out of my bedroom window and I have a big dog that hears everything. I love the LoJack and it works great. I moved my bike the other day without the key sensor near by and LoJack called me within 2 minutes. I know LoJack isnt in all states but if its in yours I highly recommend you getting it. My LoJack also came with $5000.00 replacement assistance if bike isn't found or deemed a loss. I know this info doesnt help now but maybe on the next bike you can get LoJack. Disc locks only slow thieves down thats why i have LoJack in case it gets stolen while Im out though I rarely leave it anywhere like a movie lot or mall lot. Thats what my car is for. Hope you get some satisfaction out of this and press charges if they get caught!

I know how you feel... I am on my second 08 Busa. It's sad that there are soo many theives out there waiting and watching. Back in the day if you stole a mans horse they would hang you....

sucks when other people take what you work your a** off for! glad to hear that your insurance is doing the right thing. It helps lighten the blow to the stomach when that happens.
