STOLEN BIKE IN NC

Very sorry to hear that your bike was lifted. Indeed, being robbed leaves one feeling sick, angry and, perhaps worst of all, results in decreased trust and community with your fellow man.

When someone violates your property rights and steals your ****, we all suffer.

That really blows. Whatever to working for it. It's not like we all won lottery and got it free. Hope it plays out well for you.

sorry bro i hpe the best for ya if you said your son has a bike in the garage if he's got friends that are into bikes i'de might make trip by there house first

Give us the entire story on the insurance issue. Did you add the bike to your current insurance via a phone call possibly? I'm very curious to learn what grounds the ins. co. is rejecting your claim?

Sorry to hear about your loss, I'll keep a eye open. The Insurance though you can try to cover it under your home owners policy for burlary because it was inside the garage. Show them the police report.

I did not have insurance on the bike it cost too damn much! I called my homeowners insurance company and asked them if they would cover it if it were ever stolen out of the garage and they said yes as long as it was locked up and there was a police report. This question was asked to them in person two years ago in their office. When we confronted the same lady that told us this two years ago she denied telling us this and said that she had never even spoken to either of us! This of course was a total lie. My policy states that motor vehicles are NOT covered. Keep in mind now that one year ago our policy was handed over to a different carrier but they assured us that nothing on our policy would change. I guess it either did or the lady that told us it was covered didn't know what she was talking about.

what now? it is too expensive? so you did not have coverage at anytime?

This is why I keep my K8 locked with a chain to my bass boat and trailer in the garage. Some thing doesn't quite sound right with this though.I have full coverage though State Farm on my bike. I never heard of anyone trying to get their bike covered under their home owners.

I refuse to pay any insurance company $3600 per year to insure my bike. I'm 46 years old with a perfect driving record so that is pure bullshit. I'll just spend the money on getting a professional install the necessary security equimpment and buy a pitbull with aids.

51 also, with perfect record. Under $500 a year full coverage and $250 deductable. State Farm rocks!

I use State Farm also. I may only be 32 with 1 wreck 2 years ago. But still I only pay 108 a month for full coverage. If you decide to get another one you might wanna contact them about the insurance. They are quite reasonable I believe.

I'm 25, and my insurance was $476 per year for full coverage. You need to go to state farm. The key to the low motorcycle rate is have a car insured by them and then add the busa.
