1st Annual Hayabusa.org Meet-n-Greet!

1127-1299 So From NewYork The Difference between Arkansas or Colorado is 600 miles or 8 hours... Not to big a deal huh? So it would prolly come down to facilities and the "What to do?" Factor...

If you want logic, a Busa Meet would have to be held in Kansas.. At The Bugs house...    Loboboy has a nice place too... I bet we could crash in his backyard...
No back yard but a big F$%KIN garage and lots of driveway space. You are more than welcome. I might even pay to fill the fridge with beer.

Here is a pic from the road that goes up over Independence pass that I took this year at Cyclefest. Major twisties and lots of altitude changes but bring your cold weather gear for the mornings.

The nice thing about Copper Mountain is after a hard day of riding they have some great Restaurants and good bars to relax in after the day of riding. Also all of the Condos have hot tubs to help work out those tight muscles after working that big bike around all day long.

One factor that has not been given enough weight is the proximity of the location to the Captain. He started and maintains this board even though I understand doesn't now have a Busa. Eureka Springs Arkansas again becomes the best location due to proximity to the Captain.

I will offer to pick up the Captain and his family members in my 5-place airplane and transport them to our meet in Eureka Springs free of charge. He might really enjoy the plane since it performs like a Hayabusa with wings. I would stay at our cabin on Norfork Lake near Mountain Home Arkansas for this event and commute to Eureka Springs anyway (about 1 1/2 hour ride). I have a car that I leave at the airport for when we fly to the lake so it would not be a big inconvenience.

Someone tell me if I can attach a video to a message on this board and I will attach a short-field takeoff of me in our plane.

I always take my family (wife, 15 year old daughter, and 13 year old son) on trips like this. Only one Busa so it will be traveling back and forth with one of the kids and the wife and other kid in another vehicle. How many are bringing their wife, girlfriend, children, etc?

be just myself should be un attached by then

Im for Eureka Springs ar. The roads are great and there is scenic hwy 7," great scenic route " and the "pig trail ". I have done both in my Z/28 but the Busa would be awesome.. Eureka springs has a great hotel 20 rooms overlooking Beaver lake, I highly recommend it.. Point west Resort 1-800-352-6616. rooms are reasonable and clean, with great view and only 6-7 miles from Eureka springs.. Im in if its in Arkansas..

I would go for the Ark thing if we pick spring or Fall to go. I won't go if it is in the middle of summer. Too Hot and too many bugs. that is why I go to Colorado for riding in the summer.

My wife will be going as well since she is riding her own bike now. A 2004 CBR600F4I. She's not real aggressive in the corners but we have a great time just riding together. She will get better with time.

Hey MidnightBusa, It doesn't matter where it is at, we are going to ride! TrailerQueens are reserved for the Sturgis rally. And I have a question about the pic from Arkansas that says "Crooked and Steep". What does that mean... a 500 foot elevation change in 30 miles?? Come see the mountains people!!

Yeah WOW Drew!!! Just LOOK at ALL that Natural Beauty!!!! Yeah I am being an ASS but this Selfish "Keep it Close" shid is getting pretty fuggin old...

Having the West coast folks make the extra drive for that just doesn't make any sense. What the hell would the motivation be? But having the east (Or is it Southern) folks make it across on extra state is apparantly way to much to ask???

Whatever, I am fuggin Done with the argument... I'm going to go ride where it's comfortable, fun, and there is actually something other than a hillbilly at the end of the fuggin road..

This gathering is definately gonna require two locations to involve the majority of members. By spring I'll be living in Phoenix, AZ so the Colorado thing is cool for my situation. But if I would still be here in Ohio I would probably be hoping for something a little more Eastern.

A lotta plans need to be made so the sooner a location or locations can be determined....the sooner people can start getting there heads straight on what arrangements need to be made based on their personal situation.
