200 milion dollars a day vacation

It is sooooo funny how sooooo many people can see the bad points of the other guy/party while overlooking the faults of their own.

Here's a little secret, all politicians at that level do things that are selfserving. No matter how good you think your guy/party is, every decision they makes will hurt or upset a segmant of the people.

A real honest liberal wouldnt approve of him spending millions and millions our tax dollars to take a few hundred people on vacation with him. How many people have to go hungry and homeless, before this administration wakes up?
Let him pay for it and he can stay gone the rest of his term and nobody would care.

I dont care what party they are from. They need to bring our jobs back, cut taxes, cut handouts(after the jobs are back). How many jobs could be created with the money(our tax dollars)Obama is spending on this vacation?

They are all self serving, especially Mr Obama who promised us change. He cares nothing about the USA or the blood shed that made it great.

I predict the next two months are gonna be scary. The 'kamakazi congress' led by crazywoman Nancy Pelosi is likely to try everything they can to get their last licks in before losing control.

1st bill out of the new 2011 House needs to be a pay cut for their members. 2nd Bill needs to be "Congress shall enact no law that it's members are immune from". Third needs to be Term limits. While not a big deal in $$, it would be a MAJOR step in restoring faith in that institution. Just because the Republicans gained control does not mean they get a free ride - the conservatives that won this election expect them to man up too.

I have searched and could not find one credible source that this vacation has or will take place. Can you please provide real proof that this vacation has or will take place? Otherwise, this is just more hate mongering BS from the other side.

No offense to anyone from India...BUT this is not a damn Vacation. Going to visit the slumdogs of India is not my idea of a vacation.

Republican polices encouraged Corporations to send our jobs overseas. That is a fact, so where is the outrage?

You are right, there are several blog sites that talk about an upcoming trip to India. We all know how accurate blogs are. None of them list any facts only speculation and hear-say.

People on here are claiming this trip is a vacation for Obama and several hundred of his friends. All the info I have found state this is an official trip not a vacation. All of the people going are doing so to work, not going on a pleasure trip.

The only reference I found about the cost, was an estimate from an "un-named source in the know". This person works at a hotel in India. I guess we are outsourcing White House trip planning to India now.

From the looks of it:
*Obama takes vacations and passes them off as official trips
*Obama get his friends jobs at the Secret Service so they can go on vacations with him.
*hires hotel workers in India to plan trips and handle the budget.

You are right, I should be outraged.

I think I heard Air Force costs 1 million a day to fly or maybe just to start.

This thread is not about Bush or anyone else. It's about the current leader and his disregard for the American people and our money.

Initially, I was taken aback by the headlines as well. No links were given for the article, so when I searched for it myself, all I found was the same blog published by all of the other media sources with a bunch of vague information.

Things that I'm finding today says that it's a meeting with the Indian Prime Minister and Parliament...not a vacation. This info is from the Huffington Post, which is a blog as well, so it for what it's worth. There's also quite a bit more detailed information in the White House press gaggle for the India Trip.

Something tells me that if Obama were going on a personal vacation with a budget that size, FoxNews would have already been all over it.

When I got divorced, I was still *****ing 20 months after she was gone! Takes time to repair eight years when you are being held back every step of the way. We are a fast food society. We want it now, we want it pain free, but wait there's more...

for the last 4 years both houses of congress have been controlled by the democrats. Barry has had two years, to pass anything he wanted.

democrats have a majority....

the only thing holding up the agenda are other democrats....


simpler example: the democrats can pass any legislation they want. without needing a single Republican vote in either House...

so why did BArry need to bribe other Democrats to pass his "stimulus" and "Healthcare Reform"...
