A pre-black friday thought for yall

I get thanksgiving and Christmas off, just work the previous Sunday to get s day ahead of things. I then spend the holiday being grumpy and mad that I've got no family to see. I truely hate the holiday season. Bah humbug!
Ride south, you can be a part of my family

There already working outside my store, dam shame.

I've boycotted Black Friday for my entire adult life...I don't need something material so badly to bother.

Seems BF will soon be outdone by "Grey Thursday"...for those that can't even wait until the big day... :banghead:

I worked my 11 hour shift tonight at my Walmart. got home at 4 am after shopping a bit. We had the fire marshal threaten to shut us down due to overcrowding. And only had a few heated arguments, a couple of fights, one tazing, and a child got bit in the arm. So all in all it was a pretty slow night.

I told you, stop biting kids, its easier to just push em down.
I remember my days at Walmart on 3rd shift, it was always an experience. Guarding tv's on thanksgiving was always a personal favorite.

the post is in support of/ thoughts for the retail sales stores that do this to their workers...it is not in response to "necessity" industry's. as its the retail including toys are us that do NOT have to open on thanksgiving except for greed. The retail sales is well known for its low wage and cutthroat policys towards its employees. you will find there are going to be and already have been walkouts by employee's of these "major" chain stores and even folks protesting in front of the stores to remind people its a HOLIDAY. save your greed for material things for "black FRIDAY"

The greed you speak of is probably the greed of the union bosses that need more dues paid

I broke down and actually went to a store on Thursday... 7-11 needed gas for a nice after dinner ride.
