I try and keep up with the posts, but again I missed what was going on about this.
I have enjoyed a lot of the interaction and have learned a lot, as others show me things that I have not been exposed to.
I don't look at it as trying to convince anyone, but rather to allow them to expand and educate themselves and myself likewise.
It will be sad if we are all just posting "which oil to use" or "which tire is best".
I surely wish those that don't want to play nice would just go away.
There is enough strife in the world, that this place should be a haven, where you don't have to agree, but you can at least be treated civil, and expand ourselves in many different areas.
Sad a few bad apples have to spoil it for everyone else.

I have to stop in this thread and post...I am really glad to see these types of political and religious threads being stopped. I have pretty much given up entirely on my previous board due to, too many people arguing over politics and religion. I have had more than I can bare of listening to the political and religious bickerings of others online...

That the tone of some of these threads is a little rough shouldn't be too difficult to fathom;... I don't know too many 11 year girls that own a Hayabusa.

This is why Captain is irrational in logic, and insulting to any thinking person wanting to discuss, say, the immensely important topic of the direction the country is going, or say philosophy of metaphysics.

Yes, this is his site, and I will respect that fact and will continue my extremely low post count/join date ratio as a result.

Your post is exactly what Cap was talking about. It's not the political threads that are a problem. It's the members like you who can discuss issues without making personal attacks. You made an attack on Cap. That is unacceptable and frankly, I really think that you should be banned. It's his forum, his rules. Dont like it? Leave. You wont be missed
