anybody race the new bmw??

The BMW is a sweet bike, but I'm amazed that the Aprilia RSV4 got very little magazine press--especially considering that it won the World Superbike Championship last year.

i was to..a friend of mine picked up a 2010 and it is a really sweet bike..

I could post up 10 time slips and you would say give me 11 slips, it's never going to end with you, so here ya go, your right, there slower then hell and I like to lie to feel better about myself.

It ends when you provide FACTS in a simple discussion, I have yet to see proof...not saying there isn't one that runs 9's just haven't seen it (let alone one running 9.5's). No need for 10 or 11 slips, how about one 60' time. People still getting pissed over a simple chat about bikes LOL....

Good luck feeling better about yourself, can't help you there...

Pretty common on a few other forums too.
Get a Sportsbike that's design is VERY focused
on going around corners and get excited because
you can beat it in a straight line. Whoopie-do !

Stuff like the BMW S1R (or most hot-1000's) are
easily as competition in a straight line against a Busa
as a long heavy Sports tourer is when thrown through
the twistys where the hyper-sports rule.

Modern Sportsbikes are very impressive,
they just dont only live at dragstrips.

My Ute must be better than a Porshe and a Farrari because
its waaay better at getting across a building site with a ton
of bricks in the back, those cars are rubbish !

Ginas BMW in Iowa city.

They have his time slips posted in the area around the s1000rr display,
9.5-9.6's box stock
Now strapped and lowered running 9.3's

I'll be up there in Sept, maybe I'll stop buy the dealer and have a look myself... :beerchug:

its funny becouse the guy with the bmw just got beat by his old bike(07-R1) tonight.ohh well atleast is has nice hardware...
