Anyone ever carry while riding...

My busa is faster than a speeding bullit

no carry for me

Tank bag is a bad idea... If someone wants your bike, it'll probably be at a traffic light and it will be a couple of guys (I've had a friend here had that happen to him a couple years back)... Now you've lost your bike AND your gun..... Keep it on your person... JMHO

Guns suck.

No they don't...period.

Guns are certainly not for everybody and anyone who is not fully understanding of the magnitude, concequences, and responsibilities of owning a firearm...shouldn't. Or even if you just not comfortable. But I take exception to the "liberal"

Although I have a permit, I have not been carrying in the summer but I've been thinking about it, being on a bike. I don't own one of these but Kahr makes an excellant conceal weapon. Might get one of those.

Now as for gun porn....heh heh heh...I can do

That my friend is a 20+ year old colt python, Royal Blue...that I bought unfired. A man bought it, put it in his sock drawer...woke up one day, figured he was 70+ years old and couldn't shoot it so he sold it.

It has the sweetest action...Everytime I let someone hold it and pull the hammer back, they get the biggest Sheet eat'n grin on their face..EVERYTIME.

a funny fact- in Canada it is illegal for anyone other than LEO and Security to carry,, BUT I can carry a gun anywhere in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and BC. I can carry to and from any range in all 3 provinces. Unloaded, and locked of course, but its there. So, no matter where I am, if I feel the urge to carry my toys, I can.

ya that was my first thought....just how finely machined that baby is along with that awsome finish.

I scored mine back in 83 for $400 bucks then sold it a few years later...one of the biggest mistakes I ever made...my policy now is to never sell any of my guns cause many can not be replaced now thanks to liberalism.

very nice!

I am about to start. I finally broke down and got my CHL. SO I will probably be packing in the jacket or where ever else is comfortable. I was suprised to find out how many folks here in Texas are packing the heat on a regular basis.

Hey, Over Easy, you know I have to keep up my "Street Credibility" and keep it hood !!

You must be an elephant Southside....you got me there. Hey, a true Playa' has to protect themselves.

So did you decide to get the extended swingarm (I have some elephant traits as well)?

Now that it looks like I'm not the only one carrying would you say it's better/safer to have a revolver or auto when riding or in an accident on your bike?

I'm think'in an auto is more comfortable to carry...it's usually slimer in design and lets face it, if you have to use deadly force, you want to be well armed capacity wise, an auto would be the pick.

The wheel gun is ruged and reliable. It's has less capacity but there's less to go wrong with it and they are usually less exspensive. I think a wheel gun would survive a crash better and be much safer to.

It's a tough choice but I say auto, I mean after all, a crash could happen and some weird thing could occur and maybe it could discharge. But, if you ever had to use it, and thats whats on my mind, chances are it's because someone intends to do you in in which case give me a bullit launcher with alotta bullits.

Cool Gimmie you're address so I can come buy an take all your stuff, slap you around while there, and have NO fear of your being able to defend yourself.

OH OH, I'll even let ya call the Cops when I show up, so you can see just how useless they are at PREVENTING CRIME, they will show up just in time to take some pictures, tell ya how everything will be OK, and leave you a report.

Guns don't suck, they are tools just like anything else and allow a person to take PERSONAL responsibility for their own safety and that of their property and family. Otherwise Folks just cry like a little girls with a skinned knees and they start calling politicians to take "action" doing whatever they can to try to take the focus off their inability to grow a sack, and take responsibility for their own safety.

Anyhoo, hope that satifies your apparant desire for a response.

Nope. My response was generated from experiences in my life that you would never understand because you were born and raised in a society that honestly believes it is their God given right to kill people. It is not, period. I am not Liberal or Conservative and my comment had no bearing whatsoever on my political preferrences or vice versa. Too many people die in this country because of guns. The whole argument that guns don't kill people, people kill people is simply poor logic. If there were fewer guns, there would be fewer deaths. That is accurate.

It is truly sad that we have individuals whose minds work like this.

The gun is merely a tool. No different than a rock, a knife, a bat, a spud gun, a big wrench...a car.. Just a tool.

Any of the above items, and many others, when used by someone with the intent to harm can be deadly.

I could easily get really sarcastic, and attack your level of intelligence....but I won't.

The total lack of logic in your statement just amazes me.

I carry. Often. You'd never know either. I don't carry to be a badass.....I carry to protect my family.

My 14 yr old daughter is an accomplished marks(wo)man as well.

It is our right to PROTECT ourselves. I didn't say it is our right to kill someone...but make no mistake, if my or my familys lives were threatened..I would respond in kind.

I have just the opposite outlook as you; I believe that if more people carried, there would be less lawlessness. Think about it....how many robberies would there be if the would-be robbers knew that the chances were very high that they would be faced with an armed citizen?

I am a big supporter of law enforcement, but they can't be everywhere at once. By the time they reach you..whatever situation you are in will be over..

You indicated that some event in your life brought you to the belief that ...as you say "guns suck". I understand that things can happen in our lives that change the way we think.

But we can't allow these events to cloud intelligent, rational thought.

Lastly, a firearm is absolutely, positively the last resort.

I hope that if you are ever in a life or death situation......that there is someone near you that does carry.
