Well just wanted to share that after 2 1/2 months I finally went out to try some of the same twisties I used to ride before the accident. I went a lottttt slower than before. Still having some problems with the confidence. Made it through them all without incident. Was a proud moment for my own self. I know I know sounds crazy. It has been hard to get back to the swingin of this thing. I love this bike and will not give it up to anyone. LOL everyone keeps trying to buy it from me. HAHAHA They aren't gettin it. IT'S MINE DAMN IT... Anyway I have about 4 or 5 more trips routed out through more twisties a little at a time. So Dawn/Randy watch out I'll be coming your way. LOL We may have to meet up for lunch. I haven't been ridin with the group this time like before. It's just myself and a friend riding. I hope to finally get up to Barber in October for the femoto or just to be able to go would be great. Please feel free to share you stories in this thread too for all of us trying to get back to the swing of things. I still laugh when people try to say that this bike was only built for straight lines. Hmmm I believe that a lot of folks here have proven that fact over and over again as being FALSE..... hehehehehe Thanks for letting me share...

O BY THE WAY I HAD A FANTASTIC TIME RIDING TODAY.....

Way to go! Way to get back on that horse. If you're up for some riding during the week. Pm me and I'll come up and ride with you. (Schedule permitting). I'm usually off tues-sat.

Great job! Take it easy and it will get better. You only have two choices after a crash. Ride, or don't. You have to make the choice that is best for you and your soul. I'm glad to see riding was your choice.

glad to see you back out riding. You'll get back to where you were and even further. Be safe out there and have fun.

Where ya riding at up there in the panhandle?

Usually between niceville, fl and camden, al. There are a lot of places in stockton and blackwater and just some nice roads in crestview and niceville. Good eats and quiet roads...

It's pretty fun time. We've been scouting some roads we haven't been on..Between tom tom and google maps we just go...

You gotta tell me where you find twisties around here!

I am in Milton, and only curves I can find are interstate entrance and exit ramps!!!! LOL

ok try google maps for Indian Ford Rd and Abb Pitman Rd... those are some of the ones that are more technical. We got out to stockton for some roads like old ganey rd and surrounding roads. 225 and 31 out in stockton has a station that folks meet up at. I'll be back out there in a couple of weeks. Work has me busy for the next week in a half.
