I raised mine months ago and its one of the best thing I did to it. I never lowered mine so I don't know how a lowered busa rides.

I like riding twisties. I had a Kawi 636 but I felt too big for it so I bought the busa and wanted to make it more of a big bad-ass twisty bike moreso than a drag bike.

I got my links from Schnitz Racing for ~$35. I could tell a difference and had no probem with my chain. If it changes the wheelbase as some have said it won't change it enough to tell ... IMHO.

Is it possible to shim the rear shock?
As in this link; http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/howto/rear_suspension_shimming/
or must the dog bones be changed?

I added 1", went to 55 profile tires, it's like riding a liter bike in the twisties (almost)

I also like the 55 profile

Not only is it taller but it has a larger footprint on the side of the tire instead of the middle.

Only negative is it weighs a bit more and cost more.

There is no way to shim a Busa's rear shock. It's different than the other GSXR's.
