Bad Idea

Yup - go to MSF after you're healed. That's a must do for anyone. My 2c - This group here - they're the experts. Listen to them. They know what they're talking about and they can help. I've had my busa for 4 years now and I'm still learning from these guys. g'luck.

Brett. I think what they are getting at is this. You came here the first time looking for advice, hell, I talked to you on the phone for about an hour. You disregarded everything that the guys and I told you. Remember on the phone I told you first and foremost, ride legally. That means, license, insurance. Ride within your ablillity. You may think so, but I dont think your ready for ANY street bike yet. That doesnt mean you cant learn to ride the busa, but now you know how fast it can bite. Now, we havent heard from you in a month, then I get a phone call that says you did everything I (we)suggested you not to do a low and behold everything that we said would happen, happened. Thats why all the flaming is going around. Does that mean we wont help you out......no. BUT make yourself a part of this group, not only when you need something. Contribute anyway you can and LISTEN and LEARN. If you want to keep riding sign up NOW for the MSF course, its free in Illinois. Make up your mind what you are going to do and do it. Stay safe and let us know whats up.

Aight busaboy02, I haven't seen your post's cause I haven't been in general bike related forums since my wreck. Let me give you some advice, from someone who has wrecked twice. (first girl hit me head on, last one was hidden gravel) Get rid of the busa for now, learn on a smaller bike. You have WAY too much to deal with on a busa anyway, with watching how much throttle you apply, dealing with weight, etc. That on top of the usual road hazards of other drivers that don't see you, gravel, and other crap. Trust me, take an MSF course before getting on another bike, whether it's a busa or not. Take everyones advice, please. From the sounds of it, you're well on your way to becoming a statistic, and no one wants that. Stay alive, stay smart. If nothing else, buy an old beater 600 to learn on and keep your busa, but don't get back on the busa again till you know how to ride!
