Best price on a NEW GEN II

11161.44 ready to ride from Powersports in Chanute, Ks. I checked every dealer in eastern Ks. and this was the best price. (orange, by the way and they had 6 more)

$7,995 for 2008 at Chicago Cycles (as advertised at the Cycle World Int'l Mcy Show) on 2/7/2009. Hurry while supplies last! Exchange gold wheels for Black on 08 Blue if you like at no extra charge. (Call 'Hawk' if you want a salesperson name - but he is not the person that mentioned the wheel exchange.) Good Luck! They have all 08 color combos.

They want these things gone. (OMG AT THIS PRICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

It's BS, they add freight, assembly, and other BS and comeoout at 10.9

Do you have a phone number for this shop, or an exac lovation? Several shops come up when you googe Chicago Cycle.

But there used to be a shop on the north side (like on Western) that had the best prices in country for Busas. I don't know if this is the same place.

EDIT - Actually, I think that place was called Champion.

I called and got "Hawk" and said hey man, want to sell a Busa today, he said "of course!" I said, I heard about your show special to which he said, you did???? did I quote you like $9792 or something? (Not 7995) I said, um yeah, he needed to call me back. Haven't heard from him since.

These guys offered 2008 Hayabusa's at the motorcycle show for 7,999.00. So i went in the monday after the show to buy one. Well the salesman first said that price was marked wrong, even though I talked too two seperate sales guys and a manager at the show. Then They agreed to sell the bike for that price but tried to jack up the prep/ set up fees to over 2,500.00. They told me 11300 out the door. This place is a joke. I will take my money somewhere else

Tulsa, OK and Joplin, MO dealers both have them for 10,495 - but I have seen 10,100.00 somewhere around here too. I believe they are mostly the orange and black colors.

One other note...my Suzuki dealer told me that Suzuki cut production by nearly 20% across the board on all of their bikes and 09 Hayabusas have been hard to come by thus far. He also told me they also had a price increase on the 2009s.

I don't know if there is any jokes (good or bad!!!!!!!!!) - they seemed extremely motivated on Saturday to move these and they were talking bare bones / no fees / free exchange for gold wheels, etc.

$ 7,995 WAS LISTED on the placard hanging off the right hand grip of a Blue / Gold 08 they said they had all colors.

This may be the number / taken from a diff site.. chicago cycle 1-847-763-6900

It is sad if they lost the motivation over the past few hours! I'm just trying to help - hope it gets somebody a new busa. Let us know.

Wow. Sounds like those guys need to be black listed. Don't wanna sell at a given price, fine. But don't promise a great deal to get me in the door and then try explain that the fees are 28% of the cost of the bike. Boosheet!

FYI: As a refresher, Got my 2008 on 11/1/08 from a very respectable dealer, Cycle Sport, and great no pressure, no BS sales professional by the name of Gerald Williams. Price was $10,700 (paid to the dealer) plus taxes, title, tags (paid to the state on my own). Worked out to about $11,342 TOTAL!

There's a dealer in Romney, WV (Romney Cycles) that has been quoting $10,400 (you pay your own tax, title, tags) for over a year now. Best confirmed deal that I've located. I would've bought there, but for a $300 difference, I settled for a shop located 40 miles away instead of 125 miles away.

Best of luck!

I just got off the phone with Honda East after Southside Honda went from $10.8 on Saturday to $11.6 today. Lacey at Honda East says $9499 + $95 + $671 + $15 + $10.50 = $10291.08 So, after this quote I asked, is this going to change tomorrow? She says nope! Looks like my business is going to Toledo.

One little "trick" is to tell them that the funds will be in the form of a cashiers check and that you need THE number for the amount of the check. Ensure that they know that if they "find" add'l charges after you arrive beyond the amount of the check that it's them who'll be out of luck since you won't be able to change the check.

Best of luck!

I also called Chicago Cycle today going to buy one of those 7995.00 Hayabusa the very best cash price they would give me was $10,600.00 this place is a scam I would'nt ever consider buying a bike from a place like that. It's all just a ploy to get you into there stealership.:cheerleader:

This is the deal I got from Lacey at Honda East, she says they have 3 more Orange and Black and 2 Blue. Mention my name (John Foster) when you talk to her and you can have this deal as well.
