Best price on a NEW GEN II

Your getting screwed this late in the season, wht are you even considering

What would you expect to pay or what is the best price that you've found? Do you have a particular strategy for avoiding the prep fee?

Well, actually, I was just posting the quote figures. I expect to run the final number down, one way or another. Of course, I don't have to buy and the dealer doesn't have to sell.

Well, I finally found the right bike AND a good deal and tomorrow I go to inspect, pay, sign and then RIDE!!!! Woooohoooo!!!

I'll post up the dollars sometime after the deal is done. As of right now, it looks like it'll be $10,700 to the dealer. I'll be paying tax, title and tags on my own.

Deal went through yesterday!!! As promised, here's the breakdown:

$10,700 to the dealer (price of bike, setup, freight, processing, etc). This represents about an 8.5% profit. I consider a fair profit to be 5-10%.

I'll need to do the tag and title work myself, so I'll be paying the following to the state of Maryland:

$642 (6% tax)
$50 (Title)
$97 (Registration - 2 years)

That makes my ITG (In The Garage) price $11,342, which is $658 below list price for the bike alone.

The bike is AMAZING!!!! (But y'all already knew that.)

Negative!!! Two problems w/Cycles USA:

1) No orange/black!

2) Best price: $13,500 :wtf:

Sales guy was low key and nice enough, but Cycles USA just seems uninterested in competing for business.

Bought from a VA dealer about 25 miles away. Ironically, Cycles USA is the closest dealer to me. Their loss.
