I may regret this, but it seems like no one west of Dayton ohio has bought an 08 busa. I did 2 weeks ago and the check I wrote to drive away(the real "out the door")for a California bike (Los Angeles)was 12,499. By the way, it ain't so bad in California.

I just bought mine from Brady @ Peak Performance in Mankato, MN for $10,800.00 plus $350.00 shipped to Florida. He added on Youshi R77 Carbon 4-2 and Power Commander with USB for $1150.00 bringing the total to $12,300.00 OTD

Taxes/title will bring it to around $13,000.00

He has a Blue one I almost got but went Orange at the last minute.

First, I want to thank you all for providing OTD prices for the 2008 Busa. I am a new member but thought I'd drop by and add my 2 cents to OTD prices: I recently purchased a Orange/Black 2008 Busa OTD 11,500 in Virginia. I went to a dealer (Coleman in Woodbridge, VA) and they wanted $13,500 for the Orange and Black Busa because its a hot item so they feel they can charge whatever the market will bear. After reading several of the threads here I decided to look elsewhere, it was a bit of a drive but well worth it considering the price I got it for. Prior to the Busa I had a 2002 Kawasaki ZX-9R, then a 04' CBR 1000RR, love the Honda but not great for long distance riding, which is where the Busa comes in...lol.

I am looking forward to reading and commenting on the Busa.

Hey Mike, the Romney price IS legit, I picked mine up on Saturday, Donny says he's selling about 10 a week and sells them as fast as he can put them together, nice folks up there BUY OTHER STUFF THERE IF YOU GO they give you discounts, of course you're already spending 10G's it's only right that they give you discounts on stuff too. Forget mapquest if you go, get to MD, take 81 South to Rt 50 towards WVa and you'll run into Romney in about 50 miles, ok you might want to still use mapquest as a reference point, let me know if you need anything, glad to help.

I to checked with Romney and was quoted a price of $10,295 with a $35.00 paperwork charge OTD. Now I had to pay tax, tag and title in my home state of Maryland. But that was still a great price. Donny even said he would deliver it to my house in southern Maryland for $200.00.
Do to Romney not having any Orange and Black ones coming in I ended up purchasing mine at Free State Cycles at a very competitive price with Romney and they delivered it to my door that day. Ask for Ronnie Reece (GM) Great to work with..
Oh yes you can put it on credit card and get the points, no extra charge like some dealers wanted 3%.

I called every DAMN dealer in MD and they laughed in my face bro you might want to tell the GM that he probably LOST some sales already due to the salesman trying to rip people off, before you ask my wife called them too, which is why I came ot the board to see who really had the best price going, they might want to "verify" their price with the Admins if they WILL do that price with folks, I know it would or bro's on MD, too late for me I got mine at Romney oh and BTW there was an orange one there Saturday...being picked up by a guy from out of state too.
