Today I purchased a new 2008 blue here in New Jersey for $12,150. That was the price OTD and included title, registration and sales tax. The enter price was put on my Visa card. ( 12 months interest free !! )
The high price I got was 13,888 from my closest local dealer. I guess that is why he still has 06 leftovers. It's amazing that I could purchase the bike for so much less only 14 miles away. I realize I could have saved a couple of hundred buying out of state, but I was close enough in price that the convenience was worth it.

Ok I got my 2008 for $11625 OTD at Cycle Specialties in Greer SC. That includes Tag Tax and Title.
Picked mine up from Honda East in Toledo for $10,500 OTD. Great price so I can't complain but we agreed on $10,400 and they slipped a $75 doc fee in on me. I didn't want to pay it but my wife had put the deposit down (without me knwoing) and he told her about it then so I couldn't really argue it. I should have now that I think about it...

After veiwing the board and calling a few places I finally got a solid deal and much better then local. Here are as follows. I paid $10,600 and with tax/title/tags it all added up to $11,006.95 from Valley Cycle in Winchester, Va. (James was very professional and I will do business with him again.) Reason one, my local dealers here in the Hampton Roads Area are not willing to deal. I was told $12,425 OTD at Cycle World. And then was quoted $13,600 OTD from Sunrise Motorcycles. They wouldn't even come close to the deals you guys here have listed. So, I used the list above and called Twin County Motorsports in NC and the best they could do for me was $11,042 OTD not including tax/title/tags once I get it back to VA. So a good friend of mine in Winchester made a call to Valley Cycle and hooked me up. Now I am waiting to pick it up next week or wekend. I hope this info can help others find a better deal else were instead of getting raped by a dealer.

I was quoted 13,167 from Everett Powersports in Everett, Washington. If you do the math since I have to pay state taxes, it's almost exactly MSRP + Tax. They waived the freight and handling charges and most of whatever else was extraneous. I'm sure I'll still have to pay title and licensing, but I'm cool with that. I think overall I got a good deal. The biggest factor is that I'm still deployed to Iraq, and I did almost all my dealings through e-mail and one or two phone calls. Overall I think I did alright considering the area. I can also get a 10% discount on parts through them, as well as discounted installs.
