I had been told by a friend that they will not give any other price but MSRP over the phone, which is all they told me. But I went in on a Saturday morning after being told that they had an orange and black Busa on the floor, and by 11:00 they were taking pictures of them running my Harley Davidson credit card through the machine to purchase a Hayabusa. (PRICELESS).. Like I said they delivered it to my house that afternoon.

glad to see you appreciate the finer things in life as well...I also have a Harley, 2004 Roadking but the Busa is something I HAD to have. Course i'm tapped on presents for the remainder of the year(per the wife) but hey I got it and thats ALL that counts!

Picked up my Busa new from Freewheeling Honda in Douglasville GA for 11,525 OTD (taxes, paperwork, everything). Still have to get a tag for it though.

Hello to all,

First, I want to thank you all for providing OTD prices for the 2008 Busa.  I am a new member but thought I'd drop by and add my 2 cents to OTD prices:  I recently purchased a Orange/Black 2008 Busa OTD 11,500 in Virginia.  I went to a dealer (Coleman in Woodbridge, VA) and they wanted $13,500 for the Orange and Black Busa because its a hot item so they feel they can charge whatever the market will bear.  After reading several of the threads here I decided to look elsewhere, it was a bit of a drive but well worth it considering the price I got it for. Prior to the Busa I had a 2002 Kawasaki ZX-9R, then a 04' CBR 1000RR, love the Honda but not great for long distance riding, which is where the Busa comes in...lol.

I am looking forward to reading and commenting on the Busa.

Is this for real ? I was just quoted 10200 for a 07 and when I mentioned this site I was laughed at if this indeed the price for a 08. I'll take one in whatever color they have it in going to be repainted anyhow . I am calling tomorrow ...

I think that for the most part the prices your seeing here at the oRg are for real as well as the members... Its one big family here, so get your bike and saddle up the MNGs are coming this summer. No better way to meet some of the folks you see posting up everyday and some that rarely post but come to the events. By the way I paid $10,211.00 Out The Door for my 08 blue....

I got my 08 busa for $10,550.00 from Mid Carolina Powersports in Burlington,NC. I would have rather bought locally at Triangle North in Danville, VA, but they would not honor the initial price they quoted me and it lost them 2 sales b/c my buddy purchased a 08 GSXR1000.  Mid Carolina Powersports is a great shop, when I arrived they had all the paperwork ready as well as having the bikes serviced and ready to load...If anyone needs anything, Janet is the co-owner that helped me...

You have those dealers everywhere. Like anything else you buy, you MUST SHOP AROUND. Heck, I have two dealers locally that won't go a penny below MSRP. One in Cincy wants MSRP + $500 assembly fee and $250 for a doc fee. I laughed out load when he said that CRAP. Then a couple hours North in Toledo they deal...

Supply & demand but some of these dealers are NUTS...

i ordered my 08 in august of 07 out of the dealership in bartleville, ok.  it was $10,311 out the door, of course there was no sales tax paid cause im out of state buyer. i paid the sales tax for my state when i tagged it.  i was the first to get the busa out of bartlesville on sep. 29th.  Bartlesville Cycle Sports is the name of the dealership, ask for Todd (thats my homeboy!).

I paid $14,750 OTD in the bay area, CA

After reviewing this thread ive been trying to get some deals on aftermarket parts from them.
The bike was $10,800 and the rest is all taxes, fees and license!

Try ARS in Okeechobee. They should be very competitive.
