Bought the 14R, still have the busa

How bout the bribery of exhausts? This one’s pretty cool and another has a round exit and an oval exit.
And the narrator keeps saying hay (like hay bale) hay a busa but look how they spell it. HIA6BUSA. And one shows the chain on the left and another shows a rotor on the left. Doesn’t anyone that speaks English (or knows motorcycles) review these?

I'd like to see a stock Gen 3 and stock ZX14R have a run together.....

From all accounts the Gen 3 has a stronger mid range and although it lacks on top, I'd wager it would be out front first.

The aftermarket would make the difference most likely.
I've only looked at one video. Yes the Gen3 busa beat the 14R in a drag race but the 14 left a terrible delay before launching. I believe the Gen3 busa did reach a higher speed in the run as well as a lower time.

Here it is, stock v stock. Sounds like the 14R launched pretty soft or had really bad reaction time.

Hi. Have you seen the ZX 1500R yet?
LOL the hoaxers were predicting a ZX-15 way back before the Gen2 ZX-14R came out. Even so, you gave me a little scare there. I was hoping it was fake and glad it is!

That’s a stock Gen 3 running a quarter mile almost in the 8 second bracket? And 156 mph? Stock? I’d always figured a typical rider getting into the 10s, a really good rider into the low 10s or high 9s but a 9:16? That’s nearly an 8 second quarter. Again, stock? Hawdabeleeve! I just watched the race video between a Busa a Tesla and a Koenigsegg in the collage of races shown and the “tuned” Gen 3 turned a 9.7 second quarter. Tuned how I don’t know but with a pro rider it should turn a low 10/high9 quarter. I didn’t expect a low 9.16, nearly a high 8 second run on a stock Busa. I thought the tricked out geared Gen 2s were the fastest/quickest and could easily turn a high 8 second quarter.

I'd say just by looking at the Hayabusa that it isn't stock, it's lowered and has an exhaust system which means it's probably flashed and has a filter......at minimum......

I think some of these ‘reviews’ say stock because the motor has never been apart, no bigger pistons, lightened rods, head and valve work, completely stock (internally). Outside, there’s quarter mile gearing, an ECU flash & tune, a race filter, injector changes and maybe even a modded clutch….along with a 135 pound pro rider, maybe a 9.16 is possible.

That's Super Stock class racing. The gen3 Busa is allowed to run gen2 Busa cams with gen3 cam timing in that class. Other than that, the engine's internals are stock. All the bolt-on items and ecu flash are allowed. And all of those guys are jockeys.

I personally would like to see a showroom fresh set of bikes run against each other wearing only what the manufacturers gave them.....
