Busa Bash III Attendance

Pardon my ignorance... But what exactly is a "Busa Bash"??
What do people exactly do in a "Busa Bash"

I'm scheduled to work that weekend. It's highly unlikely I'll be there. Thought about taking off that Sunday and coming up Saturday night after work, but not sure yet. I'll keep an eye on the weather forecast when it's closer to time and go from there. That time of year is just too iffy for me to burn vacation and not get to ride.

A "bash" is a big get together. The Busa Bash is just a big get together of a bunch of busa owners (and owners of other makes of course).

In this case, what they'd do is ride some of the best twisty road ridin' in the WORLD. I've seen Deal's Gap listed as one of the top 5 riding spots in the world. 318 ccurves in 11 miles of road.

Yep, what Bullet said...

We try to arrange lodging together (or nearby). We socialize, talk bikes, cook/eat/drink, and ride v-e-r-y interesting and scenic, twisting/sweeping roads in groups at a comfortable, sane pace. It's loosely structured and everyone does as he pleases. Lots of fun!

Sounds like a blast. Won't make it this year, but will put on calendar for the future. Thought maybe a quick ride over and back, but then mapquest let me know its 1483 miles and approx 23 hrs.... not just a weekend run is it?

ok i thought the get together was in august? and it was in colorado?? i am confused, please help this simple man!!

I'll be there........any plans for a grand get-together, like a certain time and place for all to meet and greet? I'll probably stay in Maryville.

not sure that we have thought that far in advance. Probably do a meet and great wherever we all wind up crashing or at the CROT early sat. morning (well I say early but like 9-10am)

I envision the schedule to be something like

Friday (whenever you get in town) meet up at the designated lodging and then go ride the dragon. come back, eat/drink/be social

Sat- Get up, eat, go ride the dragon til about lunch time on Sat. Then head out to the skyway for the afternoon and hit the dragon in the evening. Come back and eat/be social and sleep.

Sun- get up, eat and ride the dragon til folks have to head home. I'll probably be heading home in the noon-2pm time frame like last year....unless its raining then I'll just go home early

Schedule sounds great to me, should be a great time. Looks like Ride or Fish and I (and whoever else firms up with us) will be staying at the Phillips'. Maybe we can all get together by the fire one night. I really can't wait.

Hey I'm in too. Hey Zuk how far is it from Waterloo Iowa? Oh yeah 850 miles. Its worth every tenth.

Sounds great........I'm also gonna try to get a few friends who have been wanting to go to Deals to come along........they ride Suk's 1000's and Yamahahahaha's but I'm sure they would like to come along

Not a problem with me- Busas seem to be well represented already, and we have two and a half months to go.
