Coincidentally I'll be in the area around those dates. I'm running an IronButt Coast-to-coast in 50 hours (50cc) starting in San Diego and ending in Florida around the 11th and 12th of April. Then I'll scoot up to Richmond and Fredericksburg to visit family. I had intended on heading back to Colorado via Deals Gap so I can ride it again. I made the run on my Harley last time so I'm doing it on my 'busa this time. It'll be Thursday or Friday though.[/QUOTE] Great...!

Finally stopped procrastinating, and called phillips today, and got one of the 2 final single rooms that they had. Now they might have been just shooting me the breeze, and also she told me that her and her brothers ran the place together, and now the price of a single is $40 a night, at her brothers suggestion. If someone lucks out about getting a place to stay, they can crash in my room if they want. Just be forwarned that I am one of the reluctant to admit few that smoke. I'm leaving Thursday morning sometime and heading that way. Is there anyone else from aroung here riding up that way and wants to tag along, lets ride.

Fighting the flu hope to be good for the dragon. Will be on my
way mid 4-14, takes 10-11 hrs from Manassas Va. My son will not be coming, chose a free trip to Vegas over the ride, I will be coming south on I-81 and have room for another bike and rider if anyone else needs a lift, just post it here. Am staying at the Fontana resort, nice place, good warm-up ride to CROT and good cooloff ride at end of day. Will have second bed for a non-smoker if everthing full. Is everyone leaving Sunday 17th? Will there be a general get together place to start riding the 15th? Anyone bringing a non-riding wife, if so may bring mine along and they can shop?!! Is anyone inter-ested in a trip to Cycle museum in Maggie Valley? Lot of questions just need answers. Can be reached at 703-408-4098 if need direct reply. PS: Noticed 2 other bike orgs, planning to be in are same week.

lots .... some are in progress now

220mph indiglo gauges, speedo healer, 42t rear (or 16t front, havent decided that one yet), clear signals/tail w/led lights, sportvue hud system, engine ice coolant swap, scorpio alarm (soon), xm radio, radar detector, new tank protector (getting rid of the hayabusa bra) and a few odds and ends.....

oh yeah, gaffer ss brake lines and ebc hh pads are going on her in March

so just one or two things
