Buyers beware of Chrome Pros Plating!

Never dealt with them, but I wouldn't be so quick to bash them.

I know that having a tracking number means nothing until the shipping company actually picks up the item.
And if an item isn't processed in time and misses the pick-up then it'll sit until the next day or a couple of days if it misses a Friday pick-up.
Or maybe shipping company initially refused the item because the shipper (Chrome Pros Plating) didn't have all the proper documents prepared to clear Customs?
Could it be possible that it's held up in Customs?
High Value Entries (HVS) for commodities valued at $1,600.00 or more must be released through a more formal process (paperwork), and this could result in delays.

I'm sure there's a reason for the delay and them hanging up on you doesn't help matters, but some folks aren't big enough to admit they screwed up.

Definately not hung up at customs as the rims haven't even been sent yet...finally admitted by Chrome Pros. Guess i'll just wait longer....no big deal to wait, just asking for them to be straight up....I've ordered tons of part from other sources eg. BallZ and have never had this problem. Guess i'll stick to the retailers I know and trust! All this headache to save 50 bucks..............

I just saw Corpus Christi. That's 4 hours from here.. Any org members IN Corpus? I'm just sayin an actual visit may get a more direct and non b-s answer. If all else fails and no one is closer, I'll figure a way to take a 4 hours ride down there for ya. Probably Tues would be easiest before the holidays. I mean for a brother soldier (or whichever branch)... I'm out now though.. only did 10.

We had some members down south...a couple in Corpus. I know there are a few in San Antonio. I am about 6 hours from Corpus and it is too cold to make it a beach trip or I would run down for you.

Please keep us posted and I hope it works out well.

Thanks for your service.

Well good news...after all the phone calls, emails etc. they finally have shipped them.... now to wait for my friend to tell me the condition of the rims when they do arrive. Wow, I will say one thing...the support on this site is awsome and thanks to all the people that offered to boot these guys in the butt! I'll keep you guys up to date and letcha know the condition of these wheels when/if they arrive...

Another note, I was talking to them this morning and I asked why they came good....they said they seen the comments on 'busa.org and were afraid someone from the group was going to stop by their shop....lol....thanks again guys!
