p.s. - Man, this sure makes you think about how easily this can happen. During the ride part of our recent Dallas MNG, a couple of us broke out ahead of the group at one point (an open stretch) just to have a Suburban pull out in front of us across the road. Luckily we had plenty of distance to react, but it makes you think how different it could have been! What happened to Cap shows it can happen at any speed and to any one of us.

I don't really know you Doug, but, great job with this site and everything that's been set up for owners of the greatest bike ever produced.

Been away for a while and decided to check in today. So sorry to hear about this. Cap does all he can to help everybody on the board and on group rides. So much so that he doesn't usually ride on them. Now gets the opportunity and this happens. Glad to see he will be okay though. Let me know how I can help.

I'm home,,, broken but home .. word has it bike is totaled! Was in the hospital for 24 hours on the dot and now back home. My right eye is gross and swollen, glass cuts on the other eye.. Apparently I ripped my Deltoid and Tricep frm the bone, I go to a ortho doc this week. Thank you for your prayers and thoughts.... more to come later I just wanted to say thank you... Here is what I look like now....
