Carpenter Racing 1441 kit for Gen 3

....you might be on the wrong forum....

You will be hard pressed to get many to agree with you here, even guys like @ROADTOAD1340 own and love both...his Hayabusa gets the master bedroom still.
Nah probably not on the wrong forum. I still learn enough here. My booza is in the living room lol. I'm not saying it's a bad bike. It's not not better then the zx14 as a street bike.

Be honest with it. What does the Hayabusa do better over a zx14? Does it handle better? Does it have better brakes? Does it make more power? Looks is very debatable I personally enjoy the look of both. Is the Hayabusa more comfortable?
I'm talking about a daily riding street bike.

Seeing as the two were designed to compete against one another, there isn't a huge difference between them. Even the overlay comparison of seating position doesn't show a marked difference.

If we are talking Gen 3 compared to ZX14R, I'd say the Gen 3 has all the advantages minus top speed due to its cams. I personally would like to see a stock Gen 3 run against a ZX14R in everyday street riding.

It's hard for me to be objective as I am a huge Suzuki fan and spent a lot of energy setting up my bike to do what it does.

I haven't rode a new gen3 yet. But I do know they are 4-5k over a zx14 in price so hopefully they can find a 4-5k better over the zx14

If I were to go into a Mustang forum and tell them how great a Challenger is compared to the Mustang, I imagine I'd be set on fire and put out with a stick even if I owned both........just saying.....

I'd you had good argument to why they would be better I'm sure people would understand and realize they are just being fanboys

Only thing the booza has over the zx14 is aftermarket support and easier to bore it out due to the cylinders. Zx14 is a better street bike. And for the masses that are not gonna go into their engine and just do the basic bolt on parts the zx14 is far better IMO
I ownwd a ZX14R and I can tell you from first hand experience it can't hold a candle to the Busa in terms of build quality. It's like comparing a Chevy to a Cadillac. Also the clunky transmission of the zx 14R used to annoy the crap out of me. When I came time for me to buy another bike like this I didn't hesitate, I wanted a Busa.

The one thing I liked about my ZX-14 over a Hayabusa was the mirrors... they were excellent. But in the end I've bought four 'Busas and only one -14 so you know which I prefer. And the Gen3 Hayabusa now has excellent mirrors so....
The only thing that kept me from the zx14 was the banana seat and tail. I feel like they gave up on the rear end.

That "clunky" transmission is like a bolt action rifle lol it lets you know you are ready to go hahaha. Ya they did clunk that's for sure but man oh man they can take the abuse

I'm a Suzuki fan-boy and also a fan-boy of the Hayabusa and have zero qualms admitting that...

This is the reason I own one, I don't own bikes I don't like, that makes little sense to me.

I'm loyal to the brand, I have owned other brands of bikes but have always remained true to Suzuki as the bikes they make suit me.

Ain't nothing wrong with that. I'm just a motorcycle enthusiast. I grab the right tool for the job I don't use a hammer and try to take out screws with it
