How do you know how far to bend that tab either way? How would you try and measure that towards changing fueling mixture?

There are specifications you use a float level gage

and you use the bottom of the float as the measuring point. if you don't have specs, holding the carb upside down, the seam in the float will line up with the edge of the carb where the bowl contacts it.
It doesn't directly adjust the metered fuel mixture per se, it adjusts the amount of available fuel in the float bowl. If the float is stuck down or isn't adjusted correctly the fuel level will be too high and it will slightly overflow, which will dump raw fuel into the intake could cause the problem Wuzza is having. If it's real bad, it can cause gas to get down in the oil pan. If it's stuck up, it will fuel starve and run much worse.

Yes, the float tang cannot bend on it's own...always someone else has moved it, or engine modifications require it, even including trimming float bowl stops, to prevent fuel starvation in some cases.

If you look at riots in other countries such as Hong Kong (amongst many others), the US protests pale in comparison....these protests turned in riots and it wasn't only a certain group of people involved, make no mistake, there were people from both sides of the political spectrum participating.

Jan 6th was what it was.....an insurrection egged on by the then sitting president...he whipped those people into a frenzy then unleashed them on the capital......and when they were unsuccessful, he professed his love for them for trying....that alone should have had him stricken from ever running for the office again......

Many others are in the same predicament as Floyd was in each and every day....that's why there is a fear of police.

Riots are spawned out of protests, what I was eluding to in being privy to a riot is you would have seen how they formed and turned from protest to riot....almost in front of your eyes......and people from all walk of life are in these riots, left or right leaning people included as they see this as an opportunity to spread some chaos....

I did however notice that there were bus loads of people going to these protests from other areas but this is normal even in other countries...in many cases they set up road blocks going into protest areas but people still slip through. Our job in these cases was to assist the government (what was left of it most times) to curtail more people joining in so the protest can be contained........spoiler alert....in most cases it was never contained.....

I don't think the color of a person's skin negates their rights.....if they are a criminal there is due process for them...and it isn't by being killed on the street while handcuffed.....

There are lots of predominately white areas they don't go into unless they absolutely have to....especially in some southern states. I recall talking to a US Reservist who was also a State Policeman and he said there are some very scary places where groups like the 1% and other similar groups control....

Riots never start as riots, they start as a protest generally for an injustice and then morph into a riot especially when dissidents arrive which changes the climate of the protest....generally emotions are high and it takes little to light the powder keg.

I've personally seen "peaceful" protests turn into riots when certain factions join the group and act as antagonists......

You've jumped from George Floyd being justifiably killed by Chauvin to black on black killings to some sort of election rhetoric...I've seen those graphs before when they were on the conspiracy theory sites.....still doesn't mean they are factual......

1.) Talk to seniors who immigrated here from England and then visited recently, on a long few months visit back in England.

Do I miss him? What kind of strange talk is this?

What I don't like to see is police not doing their job without prejudice........this was not a high risk arrest, it was a simple arrest that escalated most likely by how the police officer was acting from the start.....Floyd didn't commit the crime of the century and probably had negative interactions with police in the past which would make him more challenging to take into custody.....

But they did and didn't do their job resulting in his death toxicology report notwithstanding...the police didn't conduct lab work or an exam on him so would have never been aware of some sort of condition......people under the influence of drugs and alcohol are taken into custody all the time yet they don't all die as a result....

Floyd was loved by someone.....and it doesn't take much for a person to go down this path, maybe even someone you know or love and I'm sure you would want them taken care of and not killed by a police officer not doing his/her job properly.

As for the election (and there will be one), I guess that will be a wait and see game....what you need to realize is there are many people who would vote for a street light over Trump....the republican party screwed up keeping him in their ranks and instead should have sought out a better candidate.....it will be Trump that loses the election for the republican party.....

Many people that vote don't go to rallies so the attendance at such an event means absolutely nothing...
