I agree with it being a need along with food and sleep...because without it we would not survive.

It being between "husbands and wives" is a man-made belief and should not be bunched in with human nature.

But a weakness, I don't follow you here?
How would that keep somone from God?

Because it's God's rule for it to be that way (between husband and wife). Satan knows this. He also knows it's our need and desire. So he trys to encourage it and promote it.

It's also in the Satanic bible. If the writer of the Satanic bible knows there is a God....shouldn't we?

Our sin separates us from God (this is where Jesus comes in) so any sin he can get us to do further helps his cause.

I would think that satanism is a religion just like all the rest and would have nothing to do with being an athiest. So the fact that satanism recoginises there is a God would haev not bearing on the issue, in fact Satanist HAVE to believe in God or they would have no basis for their beliefs.

I agree.

What my point was is that they use the same tactics (so to speak) as athiests. They dont start their bible out even mentioning satan. They are careful and sneeky about it. They tell everything you can do and how great it is to have no rules..ect ect.. till you get to the back of the book:laugh:

Overall, not all cases of course, I see these people as the greedy. They only take from society and in return give nothing... Half of every check I work for goes to programs to help the helpless, minus a little highway construction and maintenance money...

I don't know of any atheist who believes the "do whatever you want" ideology. Not believing in a diety is not equal to anarchist ideology. This is a common misconception. Just because one doesn't believe in god, doesn't mean one doesn't believe in rules/boundries.

My kids have been exposed to both sides of this debate and I've let them make the decision. What I've always told them is, "don't be a criminal and treat others with respect."

My thoughts exactly!... It is just another example of Atheists being ostracised and demonized by being lumped with Satanists. The philosophies couldn't be more different.
