That's a bummer, dude.
I have a pretty cavalier attitude about T.V. I can pretty much take it or leave it. Grew up without a T.V. because of my old man's whacko puritanistic religious nutball attitudes about it. When I left home at 17, I bought a T.V. and became addicted. I was planning my life around it, ergo, "We can't go out on Thursday at 7:00 because 'Cheers' is on!" That kind of thing about ever night of the week.
After six months of that, I realized what was going on. Got rid of THAT T.V. (same whacko nutbal reasons as my old man) and didn't have another one for a long time.
About 9 years ago, we bought a T.V. which we were using strictly to watch DVD's. Then in August, we finally got CableOne. Mostly for their internet access (Cable IS faster than DSL, btw!) but I've discovered that I no longer have a whole lot of interest in T.V. any more.
Cool! I do a lot of other things!
I sincerely hope nobody else on here is so addicted to T.V. they will have withdrawals from losing it!
