Always. I listen to a mixture of hip hop, r&b, with a little hawaiian in as well.

Can't really hear anything over 60, but having the ear buds in works out better than ear plugs.

60? What have I gotten myself into by buying a 'busa, I can here the music in my earbuds at normal listening volume at well over 100 on my Blackbird

Will just have to get the 'busa running and try it !

Voted no on this but just got a new Ipod Touch for my Birthday...and will be listening to something aggressive i'm sure while i ride from now on...

On long rides with a couple of folks, yes to music everything but mostly rap and r&b. Short rides or group rides no music cause I like to ride in the back and make sure the stupidity stays to a minimum.

Been riding with music since the first Walkmans started coming out.

They have noise cancelling skull candy ear buds?? ???

Its the sponge adapter for the ears, they work wonderfully. U can buy it on Skull cany website for I think $8.

there U go, go to Walmart and U can find these for $14 and order foam tips from skullcandy. They stay secure and wont fall out, and conftible after over 14hours of riding, I tested it, it was a long ride.

I took apart a set of Sony headphones to put under the padding in my helmet. Works well and I can still hear whats going on around the bike.

I wish I had the $$ for a chatterbox with bluetooth, then the money for an iPod lol. But if I get several hundred $$ lately. It all goes towards my gun addiction. That will change tho once weather hits & i'm on 2 wheels again.

Depends,
Aggressive riding w/group = ear plugs
with 2 friends = metal / rock :super:
Cruzin with the wife = Ballads or classic rock (wife doesn't like to speed)
Mellow music slows me down and keeps the wife happy.

No daydreaming for me when I ride. Staying focused means staying safe.

Plus, my dump pipes would complain...

It depends on lthe mood. Rock, R&B, Country, talk radio, I have to have something in my ears when riding long distances.

No.

Like many have said before me, riding is dangerous enough without taking away my hearing and I like to have 100% focus on the task at hand.

I think I would if I had the chance on long tours but when I am workin the Busa I wanna hear the motor, also for me I think safety on 2 wheels means keeping my ears and eye's available at all times ...
