EV vehicles

You spend enough time listening to or reading someone's thoughts and it doesn't take long to gage the ability to critically think.
Critical thinking or emotional maturity?

American politicians seems to be leading the pack when it comes to emotional immaturity.

And on this particular thread, emotional immaturity, and inflexibility has a whole bunch of guilty participants. If they see something and say it's yellow, no matter if it is orange, they will go to the end of the earth to try and prove it is yellow, even when they know it is orange.

Critically thinking, intelligence and being smart are all separate things in my opinion...

Critical thinking can be a learned thing......we see people who absolutely embrace each and every conspiracy theory and regurgitate that narrative yet are intelligent and smart....lots of very smart people fell into the Jeffery Dahmer cult for instance...
Dahmer was the serial killer that ate his victims. Not a cult leader. One of the most deranged humans ever.
I believe that yes, one can improve the ability to think critically. As far as intelligence and being smart, I think by the latter you mean common sense? It's one of many types of intelligence.

Common sense is a rare commodity. Then there are highly educated folks who possess zero street smarts.

My Ex Wife was a math teacher, up to fourth year college calculus, had an IQ of 140, she put my dirt bike helmet into the washing machine.

There is your link, you happy now?
So, if you can do a bit of math (which I doubt) an EV is about 6,000% less likely to catch fire compared to a ICE vehicle.
Suggested you google this, but must have been a bit to complicated for you?
Sorry Bee, I did not use the word "intelligence" but on the other hand I did not need to.

I'm certainly willing to cover this link.

Before we learn why you chose this particular link as your hill to fight on, if you don't mind I'd kind of like to get a few things committed to print here. Just as reference points to refer back to. You OK with that?

Agree 100% lol. To answer your first question, emotional maturity usually takes a heat test so to speak, but it becomes evident pretty quickly as well.

There are a whole bunch of links confirming, per capita EV fires are a whole lot less than ICE vehicle fires.

I have not seen a single link which states the other way around. All they do, as already stated, they explain that EV fires can not be put out, they have to be contained.

You are the Google expert, so please go ahead.

I'm not pushing EV's, everyone knows that by now. All I do is catch people out when they are full of BS.

It's the link you chose to respond with in your link challenge. But we can get to that in a bit.

First. I need to know if English is your first language?

Yes absolutely, yours is not.

Yours is American, mine is English, although to be kind I spell in American.

No more when you are joking when you present links, responses, or logic to support or defeat a position.
OK, dead serious in this discussion from here. No jokes. Jokes in previous posts excluded though. Grammar needed a bit of work though, just saying, since you expressed the importance of language.

I believe what you meant to say, is when we provide links we have to be factual and serious.

As an adult have you ever been exposed to hazardous chemicals (if so can you list them) suffered a TBI or suffered from anything such as a stroke, TIA, or other cognitive disorders?

Right.....I was thinking Charles Manson and typed Jeffery Dahmer.....

No, I mean smart...lots of people can be smart by artificial means (books, documentaries, seminars or courses, etc) but being intelligent (I believe) is something some is born with...

Common sense is a whole other animal....in my opinion it is a learned thing that comes from following examples laid out by them by influential people in their lives (grandparent, parent, siblings, etc). Common sense in my opinion comes part and parcel with people who show initiative and wisdom.

I have worked with hazardous chemicals and materials, but took the necessary precautions. Nothing of the sort as per your mention, I also am on zero medication. How about you?

K. Now let's review some. Since we established you aren't language challenged. Have you on more than one occasion stated how you always call out b/s when you see it?

Refresh my memory if I used the word “Always”.
I am not the BS police, so I don’t necessarily check everything I come across.

Yes I have stated that I call out BS when I see it, on more than one occasion.

I can add, that I am not always correct, and when someone proves me wrong with facts, I agree and change my opinion.

So it follows that if someone who is posting BS gets upset because I present facts to the contrary of what they are posting, I don’t take any prisoners. Too bad if they don’t like that.
