Finally happened...

Well boys i got her back. She isnt 100 percent but close. The dash still has some rash but i want to replace those with carbon anyways. The swing arm has a scuff but i was planning to install a 0-6 arm. The brocks ct sounds good, now my busa doesnt sound electric lol.View attachment 1629526

For sure! Ive thought about the no cut but ive heard mixed reviews on them. Not sure i wanna make the cut in the fairings myself.

I did them on my 1 week old 04' Busa. It was definitely a nerve racking mod.

@fallenarch has a great no cut set on his bike..

I have yet to put any on mine either...I'm not cutting the fairings-I will go with the no cut type.

Willie has T-Rex no cut sliders I think...I'm on the hunt for those.

I have frame sliders on my ZX-14 but they are mainly for a garage tip over. I've heard a lot of negative feedback about frame sliders on the 14 if you take a spill at speed. The bike is too heavy to resist cracking of the frame. Even the double mounting point one's like I have have cracked the frame on some bikes. No similar problems with the busa?

Will do! there is a ruff ryders ride tomorrow I intend to attend. I installed the lowered pegs, triple tree risers, and windscreen. I installed the bar end mirrors but they had to come off. I had to remove the bar ends to install and there just isnt enough room for my hands. Cant see $h!t out them little things compared to the factory. I did like the look (not love) so i might give them another shot. No pics yet but i will snap a few tomorrow and post them here. I like the brocks ct full system, its not as loud as i thought and thats not a bad thing.

I used to, I had 5 at one time...what a headache that was...sure am glad to be down to one and eventually none...

Makes me sick looking at that beautiful bike all scratched up so I know you're sick too!! Glad you are ok and the other person is too. I watched a youtube video where some girl didn't make the turn, hit a wall, then was hurled into traffic and got hit by a car. There were pieces of human all over the place, phew man. scary.

Some pics as promised. I wrapped the headlight and turn signal covers today. The headlight came out good but the signals not so much. With a little more practice i will get there.
