Flashing the 08 / ECU Editing software for GEN II Busas

HI all, i am new to the forum and am certainly impressed. took the plunge and bought an 08 motor for my sand rail. lots to learn. would love to get some input from ya'll. can anyone give me some direction ? i need to make this thing run, and have the stock wiring harness and ecu but no on/off switch or guages. is there a way to get this engine running without all the factory switches and guages ? thanks

Looking for a dyno shop in Central/So Cal. I am interested in flashing but I know the importance of a good shop and a dyno when tuning. Any help finding one would be appreciated.

Im having a problem trying to find out why my throttle control valve error is coming up. The idle is jumping and down. I swapped out my throttle bodies with my other 08 to see if it was any thing in that and it did the same thing. Any ideas. Engine only been ported. everything else stock. Plan on running nitrous with the ecu. Got it all hooked up but now i have the idle problem.

Never mind that one. I just up dated the version then reflashed and the problem went away. Thank god sense we just loaded up for Bonneville today.

I had mined tuned also and the idle sounds like I have aftermarket cams...taking it back Sat to have it looked at. I also had the top speed restictor removed and can't break 185 for nada..so wondering if the flash didn't take well or something. I hope that Ryan can figure this out....I ran 185 stock...which clearly was on limited because I gained no speed from 5th to 6th gear and rpms just would not build.

Does anyone know of any shops in the midwest i.e illinois, indiana, ohio that are doing flashing for the GenII? I live in Indianapolis and Hardly anyone in Indiana has heard of this method...so I can't get answers!

Uhh...auto tune? Not sure what you mean.

yep, justins autotuning module for ecueditor.com (here link: index) seems to be working just fine for bking and gen2 busas.

I am currently experimenting with gyro (yaw sensor) based wheelie control. Two step lauch rpm setting was just implemented. We shall see where all this takes us next summer.
