For those of you who are NOT Tea Party Fans

If it was out of hand it would have been closed. There has not been name calling etc. There has been mis-gotten facts on both sides of the discussion though. Keep it clean and informative and keep off the persona attacks and you wil be fine.

PUT TOGETHER 2 SIDES OF HALF TRUTHS AND YOU HAVE A WHOLE SOLUTION. We are all being lead down the paths of destruction by a dishonest government (Rep Dem). Keep in mind that the majority of any party is down the middle not extreme left of right. that is how the Tea Party started and is represented by a majority. We basically need to vote out the entire government and start over through honest and tested elections. That is the only way anyone will get the message.

I thought they referred to both political parties.
Sure it can be others but I read it to be calling the Dems and Repubs those two names not any group or kind of folk.

I'm simple minded and had never heard of either so surely did not think it labeled anyone else other than the political parties.

We need to really be cautious about the things we say right now. All of us on the board can discuss and then go riding but some, left or right see this **** as fighting words, "Taking back our Country" etc
This as an example the video on youtube that started this post just got the following comment. Ok he does not speak for the good people in the Tea Party but they are out there and we really need to be sure we are not adding fuel to the fire.

Hell yes the majority makes it right! That's the number one problem with the nation today is we cater to the minorities and tell the majority to go suck on it! Liberals are pushing this nation into another civil war or revolution which is funny since liberals hate guns and war. Guess they won't last long in the coming battle huh! ROFL 3 hours ago

•You didn't get mad when the deficit hit the trillion dollar mark. (Nah, not really, but I really did when Obama DOUBLED that his first MONTH in office)
•You didn't get mad when the president ignored the clear and timely warning that terrorists were going to hijack planes and fly them into the WTCs. (and how much of that was actionable? Nada)
•You didn't get mad when the weapons inspectors, who said there were no WMDs, were ignored. (Um, didn't you watch the news? Iraqis were moving stuff around as a charade. Saddam himself even admitted this later)
•You didn't get mad when hundreds of thousands of people died in Iraq. (Wow, did the tsunami hit there?? This has been proven time and time again as false)
•You finally got mad when the government decided that people in America deserved the right to see a doctor if they are sick. Yes, illegal wars, lies, corruption, torture, stealing your tax dollars to make the rich richer, are all okay with you, but helping other Americans...oh hell no.(Nice twist on things, but all lies)

Thanks for the responses. Like I said earlier, it was all the same ol liberal, emotional mumbo jumbo and bs. And to think guys like that are now running the country and governing from childish mindsets like these....America's going downhill? Heck yeah!! There's a whole young generation of the voting class out there that has to be cured of all this muddy mush in the brain. Right now they are busy watching MTV and South Park. When it comes to substance and facts, reality trumps liberalism anyday. No extremes, no radicalism, just plain truth.:beerchug:

Something has changed that is for sure. No matter what side you are on. A few years ago the only thing that would get 116 posts wouuld be boobs are a new turbo install.
 
There were a few signs that could be seen as offensive to African-Americans. But by and large, no one I spoke with or I heard from on stage said anything that was approaching racist.

That one was funny. The piece was almost a commercial for the tea party and black republicans. The sad thing is all the news channels are the same. You gotta remember, these organizations are run by people like u and me. They have their own political affiliations, religions, whatever; so their "news" perspective will generally follow their own beliefs, plain and simple. Wanna change how media works, by your newspaper, mag, or tv station.:whistle:
