I just got a follow up call from Suzuki rep. In the US they are expecting to deliver initial pre orders to dealers between this and next week. So he suggested to start following up with the dealer this week on.. so the dealer I ordered from in Virginia should get it too.. @BusaDawg1 take a note. Getting close

Yessir was told june 15th then a week to deliver and not only that took a few months of grinding just like finding gen 3 for 16k but I got a 2004 svt lightning heritage in dark shadow grey with 80k miles for a steal at 16k book value is 23k great shape 1 owner it's whole life stayed in garage... I couldn't believe it happier then a pig in mud will post some pics next week when I pick it up! Now have my 2 favorite memories of all time so stoked!!! I now feel 10 years younger that quick...

They’re gonna be rare as hen’s teeth just like now with all other Hayabusas. I almost never see any.
I see lots not quite a common bike but probably 6 or 7 around that I might come across

The Hayabusa has always been known for it's aerodynamics, I don't figure this bike to be much different (or better) than the other gens.
I knew of one other (a '99 copper bike) in my area...and I believe he was selling that one.

So according to MCN monthly, Suzuki was being modest about power on the Gen 3. As all testers “butt dynos” would suggest.

It makes sense as it's engine is an improved gen 2 engine..if they made it a 1440 and it produced the same or less power, the pitchforks and torches would be out...
Some of the testers who also rode the older Hayabusas have stated the bike feels stronger but not overwhelmingly so....
We've seen the drag between the gen 2 and 3 and the 3 wasn't that far in front.
