Gen 3 Trunk mods..... Who has started brainstorming on this already????

I would personally like room for a 12-32 ounce water bottle, and gloves.
When I originally did the Gen2 Trunk Mod I could fit a gallon of milk in there, lol.
I later shortened the depth and could put two 32 ounce water bottles side by side.
Which later became perfect as one water bottle and a pair of gloves.
This meant no backpack, tank bag or any bag for short rides.
I normally carry my helmet and gloves, but sometimes would lock my helmet and then gloves on the bike to go into a store, or not out of sight.
To be able to put my gloves and/or mainly just a water bottle on the Gen3, I think is doable.
I will find out eventually.

I will Ask Carl Wolaver (winner CM MM Gen3 ) if he can post some pitures now he did the titanium subframe build and must have the undertray off .

Carl post this text on 23september
Yes sir the Titainum tail section is done now I gotta take it out and see how my work paid off
All in all it was 12.5 pounds of weight reduction and you’d never know the difference looking at it my style lol

It's been a while, any good news?
Loving my Gen3, but missing my Gen1 centrestand.
Please don't tell me I'm trunkless, too!

I still havnt bought a gen3 yet, but I definately will eventually, I just don't have the time right now(working on 2 others at the moment).
As soon as I do, a trunk mod will be first thing, I've already looked into it.

Appreciate that.
However long it takes, it'll be worth the wait.

I spoke to Tiger Racing a few months ago and they said they had on in development. Hopefully they will unveil one for retail soon.

But it will be like their Gen2 version, just an aluminum tray.
It is unsealed and open to the road below, so everything in the trunk would get soaked in the rain.
It's a drag race/LSR part.

I had the "big trunk" version on my gen2 for years and never had any major issues with water at all. Loved it and definitely will be doing it again.

My gen 2 has the trunk mod as well...it also has the butterfly nuts to take off the inner bracket for storage in the hump itself....I've never used it personally...

To anyone who has done or who has seen my old Gen2 Trunk Mod done, know this...
I dreamed it up and did it out of need to carry a water bottle to the stunt spot, without having to take bag or wear a backpack.
So it exhists all thanks to wheelies.
There you have it folks, so now you can see the Importance of hooliganism in the motorcycling community...lmao
