Back of camera housing is touching fairing and you can see the difference in size.
Also note mount. This is the lowest mount you can get which is the clip mount.
As you can see there ain't no way without major mods on the air duct that your getting this camera, housing and mount inside there.

Thank You so much this helps a ton! If I get one it looks like I am going to mount it above the head light or on the tank!

That lane splitting is awesome.....in Floriduh, the cagers would punish you if that ever became legal. They already get a little rankled if you just pass 'em!

I have to say that after watching it even though I want to do that I don't think I could ever bring myself to fly by/thru that many people. Folks change lanes more than they blink here. Just one person doing that without blinker or enough space and I'd get bumped off or runt ova. :laugh:
Maybe CaliCagers pay more attn when they drive ? Here in Florida as Poppy says that's a nogo and def it's in our best interest to leave it illegal.
 
yeah i hear stories of people just opening their doors on ya . why would they be that pissed off to wreck their door and go through all that hassle just because you are passing them?...weird to me. the worst I have got is honking at me :laugh: but I live in WV
 
when I buy a GoPro, how can I make sweet videos like you guys?? do I have to get some sort of program that lets me edit the raw movies I make ? need some info

I wouldn't really be worried about that just the one who's in left lane and suddenly decides they want to be in the right one. There is zero margin for error there. Anyone moves over just a few inches would force you in an effort to avoid them right into the back of car in other lane. Right?
 
What is a good video editing software for cheap or free? I've got a few onboard videos from the Texas Mile but they are too large to post and can't get them to load onto YouTube.

Have a question, have the motorsports HD with the transcend sdhc 32 gb card. once i have battery fully charged the camera only seems to run for 30-45 minutes before it freezes up and when I play back the video it will stop in midstream and give me an error message. So I have had to stop the video and replay it again and then it would play the entire video. Anyone else encounter this problem?

My initial thought would be it's a compatibility issues between the card and the camera. Do you have any other card you can try to see if this is true? Maybe one in your digital camera or something?
Googled 'problems with transcend card and gopro and these came up. Seems a few have had probs with the 16gb card by same maker.
