There is a way to fix this. Arm the fch up and revolt. It has to be all the people for the people by the people though. Eventually the people will get tired of the few in politics ruining our lives and the economy, meanwhile writing checks with your money to fund their cushy lives and retirements. Untill then bich on cause there isnt anything going to change.

I guess few se it my way. Eventually people do get fed up though (look south) and poop does hit the fan. Just depends on how long folk take. I suggest waiting till the lefties take all your guns away

Smart is taking advantage of tax loopholes. I'd expect Amazon or anyone else to do so. So to that extent yes they are brilliant. The problem is we need to close these loopholes. Something is really STUPID, that allows a company to make $100B in profit and they not owe taxes.
I'm all for favorable corporate tax structures that allow a corp to do business here. But if they make a profit, they should pay some taxes. Lord knows I had to pay taxes on my corp earnings. Even though I took advantage of every loophole I could.
Trump is correct. He is smart to end up figuring out how to not pay taxes. He didn't create the tax laws.
I always look at this and think it can't be freeloaders that MAGA's are mad about. Red states are the biggest freeloaders on your tax dollars, have been for years. This is very easy to find out - it's printed for each year in the gov. financial statistics. White women and children make up most of the people on welfare, been like that for decades. Minorities are higher by percentage, but in sheer numbers its is children and white women.
Most of the facts are exactly the opposite of what these people believe. Even the very premise of this thread is not factual. Everyone pays taxes, just not income taxes. In fact a poor person living below the poverty line pays a higher percentage of their money to sales taxes than a Millionaire. Illegal aliens are and have been for awhile a net benefit to our economy. If you have a tax ID, your employer is paying their share of your employment taxes. If you don't have a Tax ID, you can't get a refund.
I'm not sure what you do with people who are working from fake facts and insulating themselves from the truth. I just think the MAGA's are looking at demographic changes and imagining all sorts of extreme things. You are going to get very angry when you decide to make up facts that make you madder and madder. It's a crazy cycle to watch!

Again its how someone chooses to look at numbers. If 65% of the population in a country is white, then it stands to reason that there will be MORE poor white by sheer numbers. No white privilege to it.
I hear all the time about all the black crime in a given city. OK Umm if you look at the population of the city and its 85% black, then um yes its a much higher likelihood that its going to be a majority of blacks that are committing crimes.
So in what lens do we view numbers? If someone is a racist (no matter what skin color you are), they will find racist slants anywhere they want to look. Its what supports them being a racist.
I have a POS 3rd cousin that comes from a POS mother who came from a POS mother (My first cousin). She is a welfare whore who doesn't want to do anything but draw money from the government until she makes it to 62 so she can draw more from SS. She taught all her kids to do it. All of her kids and grandkids have some medical condition to allow them to be capable of nothing but drinking, smoking and partying. But NOT able to work They taught all of theirs to work the system. Now 3rd Cuz is doing time in prison. I make no excuses for them. They are a POS family who have no intentions of ever being anything but. If I could figure out how to make them evaporate, I would. Instead they live off of grandma, my aunt until she dies. And my stupid aunt will will them a sizable amount of cash because she has plenty of it. They are as white as I am, part of my family, although distant, and I am supposed to make excuses for them? The mom who started it all came from the same family as the other 6 siblings. The rest managed to figure things out. Why the hell should I give number 6 a pass? She made a CHOICE to decide that being a POS was better than working. It will go on for generations unless and until we overhaul the institutional welfare system we have. They hate Republicans and Trump. No shock there.
I hate her kind, no matter what skin color they are. Its not skin color that makes it a problem, its character. The only saving grace is that I will NEVER VOTE for anything they do. They are part of the cancer of America that has been allowed to grow so much that we can't solve it with simple treatment now.

No doubt about it. They are smart enough to learn that they can live off the system. I didn't say they were stupid. I said they were a POS! There are a lot of drug dealers that are amazingly smart to not only survive the business but become ranking drug dealers. They are are no less a POS or right. But given the choice to make $8/hr at McDonalds or 5K a week selling drugs as a kid on the streets, it ain't stupid to realize what choice they will make.
If I'm Amazon and I figured out how to not pay taxes legally on 10B in profit, that ain't stupid. The only stupid is the laws that allow it in the first place.
If we don't have a common idea of what right and wrong are that is whats gone wrong in America. Which seems to be where America is. It isn't smart nor right that Amazon pays nothing in taxes as much as its wrong that my POS family members get to suck money out of the system as a lifestyle choice. Yet both are supported by those they vote in common with.
America has never had a common idea of right and wrong. The day the constitution was ratified there were groups all over the map on what this country was and could be. The differences were two mainly. The first is that they all believed they were better off together than separate. The second was that they all understood that to work together you must compromise.

So, what Amazon and your POS family members do is rational but wrong, and it's the system's fault that it happens?
Setting aside for a moment that the only difference between street dealers and pharma is the legality of the form of drugs, street dealers are smart but POS people for making a rational choice?

It’s funny when I read this I realised how much my point of view has changed since I’ve been on the job.
You know what the difference between someone who sells marijuana in Massachusetts and some who sells it in a store? (It’s legal here) TAXES. That’s it. As long as the state gets their cut it’s ok.
Imagine if people could be left alone to decide what they wanted to put in their bodies? Also I’ve been on the job for 21 years and I’ve never seen any children buying drugs. I’ve seen adults making their own decisions. No one forces them to buy it.
