I may be a twat but I didn't call you a liar Mate

Yours must just be a special model that nobody else here has even seen cuz 160mph in 3rd ain't happening.
One thing I know about in flatland Florida is speed.
You started the thread and asked a question. Sorry if it wasn't the backpattin' answer you wanted.

Just saying your a new guy and alot of these guys have been here for awhile and are known as good guys. Just saying don't step on too many toes if you don't want to be ban from the site.

yes a new guy to a new bike . that you would think would have been made welcome . all i asked was about the busa in third gear never had one but when i kept on reading 160 in third at 12000 rpm was this normal or would the clocks be way out . not to be ripped to shreads .

Well I have gone through this thread 3 times and the first page is nothing but help telling you a stock busa will not pull 160 in 3rd and redline is around 10,800. After that it got outta hand. These bikes are known for bad speedo(mine says first pulls till 90mph which I know is wrong) another thing is a stock hayabusa can be flashed so it can go to 12,000 but it losses alot of power after 11,000 . Not sure I have seen one that holds together to 12 either. Everyone tried telling you and you just kept saying it will do 160 in 3rd which a pretty much stock hayabusa can't do.

well if thats the case the bikes not stock simple as that . i dont know what the man has done before me but am telling you 12000 rpm and no gear light has ever came on with me

Well I would find out what's done soon. If you keep pushing a stock motor that high there's a good chance you will lose a connecting rod sooner than later. Its probably geared lower then stock. Easiest way to tell is hit the road with someone in a car and follow them. Have them get to like 60 and hold it. Then you can see how far off yours is. I did this with my buddy on a highway. He got his truck to 75 and my speedo was saying 85 before I regeared my bike. Now I have to do 90 just to keep up with traffic that's doing 70-75 on the highway.

i have done this with my brothers m5 bmw right to 90 mph . he was reading 90 and i was reading in between 85 and 88 mph so its not that far out to 90 . what happens after 100 i cant tell you . when i have time the bike will get a dino run without power commander as these busas are prity good with there fueling .
