@TallTom I'm following the protests online and I don't see a single thing about peaceful protests anymore unless merely painting a statue instead of knocking it over is considered peaceful. If the media was reporting the cause of the protest, now the focus is the violence and destruction. I don't know what happened to all the peaceful protestors. Did they give up or are they now just too uninteresting to talk about? My FB friends who were supporting BLM are very quiet about the protest now.
Haven't we had weeks like that even with cops? So apparently the 2 are not connected and cops aren't the solution to those shootings. So I guess I'm not following you?
BTW: Defunding the cops is not getting rid of them. In fact in several test cases it resulted in less crime and safer cops, a win - win.

I'm going to go out on a limb and surmise that no American alive today has ever owned a slave, nor has any American alive today ever been owned as a slave. Especially in the socialist PNW.
