NASCAR released this statement: “The FBI has completed its investigation at Talladega Superspeedway and determined that Bubba Wallace was not the victim of a hate crime. The FBI report concludes, and photographic evidence confirms, that the garage door pull rope fashioned like a noose had been positioned there since as early as last fall.
READ THAT AGAIN. A Garage Door Pull! If someone wants to find race in something, they will. I am not making accusations that it is any one person. But I'm thinking people that are in the business of racing cars. Pit crews, engine tuners, car builders, team management, have been around garages in general and probably that one specifically long before the DAY it was reported, and would have stepped in and said REALLY? It's a garage door pull guys.
Look at how QUICKLY everyone in NASCAR thought they better get ahead of a situation. That wasn't one. I suspect we have not heard the end of this one. Seems a little too smelly. I suspect there will be some job losses from this if NASCAR finds out they've been duped. SOMEONE started the Its a Noose report. Unless NASCAR staged it itself.
But I better go out and check my garage door pull now. It might offend someone. Yeah.....no I won't. They will be offended at my blackwall tires too.
Wallace had just been assigned that garage so it seems he nor his crew? had been in there before to have seen it. The media certainly can grandstand things though. Don’t know who saw it first or reported it.

Well Wallace himself has 3 conflicting accounts depending on which interview you read that he gave. Each at different timelines as the facts became public. Early on he claimed first-hand knowledge of seeing it. Other later interview he claimed he was told about and he didn't see it. Then another he says he knew nothing about it, it was the president of NASCAR calling him in tears and said that they were upset and he was a victim of a hate crime and wanted to protect him.
A car doesn't roll off a truck onto a racetrack. Tools are moved into the garage, parts are moved in, cars are tuned for track conditions. Suddenly a noose showed up?
Yeah sorry I might be an imbicile in your view but this isn't even close to not looking worse and worse here for me I'll continue to let this develop more but this has more holes in now than 30 minutes ago.
I won't use the word Smollett here. But we have a less than stellar performer who needs to get his name more endorsable. And the similarities are starting to distantly line up some.

READ THAT AGAIN: "Garage door rope fashioned as a noose". Why would someone make a noose out of the garage door rope? Bubba did not see the noose or report it according to the news report. It was seen by someone on the team and reported to NASCAR.
This goes to my earlier post where NASCAR was looking for a way to make a statement and took this opportunity. Still, any deception in a situation like this is not helpful.

They said the other garages had ropes fashioned the same way. This has been there since back in 2019.
All this excitement was over a garage door post...enough to involve the FBI..????
If the pull was done in a "noose" configuration, I figure it was someone being silly.....probably like someone liking skulls or similar stuff...
My garage pull is a simple loop but it would have been easy (and humorous) to make it look like a noose.

I am not going to watch this at this point. I'm not on the "Let's Dupe America Again" wagon yet. I'm still holding out that there is more honor than not. But the headwinds appear to be building against this turning out well.That noose looks pretty small to be a danger to anything larger than a field mouse.

NASCAR may suffer a HUGE setback from this. If the organization "staged" this. I don't think the FBI is just walking away now. Perhaps a crime has taken place. They just need to do their work awhile.
You just never know. There could be an' insane, highly motivated criminal mastermind at work here. Could be somebody's idea of a joke.(albeit in bad taste,racially charged/biased/etc) Could be some clown who knows nothing about the significance of the noose as seen/know by some and just thought it would be cool based on his own taste for "The Gothic Arts."
One thing is for sure with today's political climate,this will go down as one of the great unsolved crimes in history. Jack the Ripper,The Tylenol Poisonings...and Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

I must admit when I saw the show of support for Bubba my first thought was that looks a little too "perfect" to be spontaneous. I think it is unfortunately entirely possible NASCAR used this to make a brake from it's racist reputation, which is both good and unfortunate. Faking racism is a facilitator to more racism.
The whole thing is a bit too clean. Wallace didn't find the noose so he isn't the boy who cried wolf. It's been there for months so they can't pin it on anyone specifically. If this is on all of the doors and is a typical "joke", how could NASCAR not have known that before making this big show out of it? Seems like the investigation is not over? I wonder if the FBI and NASCAR agreed to leave well enough alone and drop the questions?
All in all this smells like a publicity stunt. On the other hand a bunch of my buddies can now go to a few races next year!

I think this is the modus operandi of the radical-left to keep their rioters on the boil.
