I also found it odd that anyone would make a garage door rope into a noose. I thought it was the rope on the catch release mechanism for an electric door opener though. Apparently there are no door openers and this was actually the rope they used to pull the door down by hand. In that case, it makes sense to put a loop at the end. It may not be a noose at all, just a loop.

I think so. People are hyper vigilant about hate crimes now.
Sad story from my old home of Milwaukee. A house used for sex trafficking of young women was burned down by the people of the community. At least a couple girls were rescued but it appears the suspects escaped because of slow police response. All the evidence was probably destroyed in the blaze. All this unrest and burning is not really helping the black lives that need the most help.

I don't believe that I am. The more hatred and rage against non-blacks that is generated within the group, the stronger the real racism within the movement grows. The racism against whites in this case is the driving force. This is all about hate and control now. It's not about building up black lives, it's about tearing apart white ones.
Pure hypocrisy.
Explain exactly why a statue of Abraham Lincoln needs to be taken down to support BLM. I'm all ears.

Make no mistake, Lincoln's freeing slaves was done out of political expediency, not moral certainty. He made his thoughts and beliefs about blacks very clear in his writing and speaking.

And with the statue gone, so goes the history of the man? With the history gone, how can future generations learn from it?
We need reminders of our past transgressions in order to not make the same mistakes again. Look at the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum for example.
This movement seems to believe that erasing history will change the present but unless you have access to a time machine, that's impossible. We can only craft our future and we need the knowledge from the past to guide us.
From the mindset of a parent, I can honestly say that my daughter is much more likely to get what she wants if she logically states her case and then asks for it. Any emotional temper-tantrum gets shut down immediately and she absolutely doesn't get what she wants. Through experience, she is learning this.
No reasonable person wants to try to work with the hysterical. BLM is acting against their claimed goal in their hysterics, assuming the goal they claim to be working towards is their truthful one. Who really knows anymore? Who can you trust to tell the truth?

In 150 years, Islam will have taken over the world and all of this history will have been erased. The infidels got what Allah said that they deserved, and the western culture and its peoples will be relegated to a footnote in time.
It's not "to support BLM". It is to correct the false history on display all around the country. Obviously, this is a difficult thing to do as a mob, it needs to be a deliberate and thoughtful effort. Personally I am against removing statues that represent historical vents that were moral or not, just be honest and balanced. However, I fully support removal of statues placed for the purpose of celebrating racism and furthering oppression of any race of Americans.

It looks like there are differing opinions on whether or not the Civil War was about ending slavery or not. Without doing an indepth study, I would say it probably wasn't. Regardless, the slaves were freed and their descendants are far from being slaves even if they are not equal to every other race in America today. We've already discussed the reason for that. It's unfair to all black people but the crime statistics racked up by some are real.
Why tear sh- up instead of creating what you want? Why not build more monuments dedicated to black achievement and equality? They already exist but there's room for more. Society is built on creating, not destroying.
Would this be happening if liberals were happy with their President? No. This would never have happened under Obama. The underlying purpose of the whole movement is to prevent Trump from being reelected. It's a protest against Trump. Very few people are thinking much about black lives anymore.
What exactly do these people (protestors of all colors) want if they can't create it on their own? What do they expect to be done so they will stop their rioting? I've heard there are lists of demands but why have we not heard them? It's because the real reason they're rioting is that they want Trump to go away. How many people in those crowds do you think are Trump supporters? Virtually none, I'll wager.
If this continues until November and Trump is not reelected, watch the riots stop. Just watch.

Rubb touched on it; the foundational beliefs of Islam are not threatening any more than those of Christianity or Buddhism. It's people that can be threatening, and labeling them by what religion they believe in criticizes everybody of that faith. Generalizations cost us greatly.
It's the extremists which are driving the issues under the guise of Islamic faith. The Koran is much like the bible in many ways-peace and harmony is the root of it's writings and general teachings.
Wars have been fought between the Muslims (Moors) and Christians pretty much ever since the emergence of both religions (Islam is younger than Christianity). Millions of people have died for their religion.
Al-Qaeda was able to be formed due to the lack of education of the people it recruited, their Imams could tell these people anything and they would believe it. Most of the Taliban we captured didn't even know how to read or write and as the Koran has never been translated into their language, they never had a clue what was in it. Our translators would try and read the Koran to them in their language but they didn't believe them...
The Islamic extremists are not the biggest threat to western civilization, it will be the Republic of China which is the biggest threat, they will soon (if not already) be able to buy and sell every country they do business with. They don't have to invade via military might, they will do it through financial hostile take overs. Western civilisation is doing business with a devout communist country with zero regard for human rights-a country which as shown hostile intent towards western culture for years and years.
