I value a dog over Vick. I do not value dogs over humans. If you can't discern the difference, then you're just trying to be difficult.
My question is why do you all care so much... if you want people like him still in jail fight for tougher laws. He did his punishment well. Man oh man. I myself am an unusually big dog lover. I dont like what the man did in the least but he was punished and is recovering from it. Be happy for him or ignore him but dont waste time on useless slander...
I just saw on the news this jackass says he wants another dog... He's got to wait till 2012 for that, but he's lobbying already. What a piece of work.
After spending some time outside of this country.....I will say, the biggest problem we have in this country is "its too easy".
Life in America is so easy we can have to invent things to be outraged about.
currently:
1. American Soldiers are fighting and dieing in places most people could not find on a map.
2. Millions of people are out of work
3. Hugo Chavez is trying to get ICBM
4. American citizens are out of work, homeless and hungry
5. Economy sucks
6. American education system sucks, and has been taken over by socialists
7. Rapist, and child molestors are being released due to overcrowding in our prison systems
the list can go on forever.....yet we can still find time to be outraged because a bunch of NFL fans think Vick is a great QB.

...i'd trust that POS around a dog about as much as i'd trust a Catholic priest around little boys.
My family whent to catholic church for years. My brothers were both alter boys.
I should be offended by this.
But I'm not.
This thread has been all over the board but the underlying theme seems to be pro VS con... another good one by da Rubbah.
All this krap about the state of affairs around the world and in the USA is all good, but perhaps if those who feel strongly enuff about that, should start their own thread, try and draw some attention to it,maybe even leave the keyboard and hit the streets. I dont know,a protest,a march...you know, something that will hit the 6 O'clock news, and be forgotten by breakfast time. People are fickle.
Folks like these types of threads because its easy to choose a side in the debate and be right in choosing either.
Anyways...carry on.
RSD.
I like my 2 dogs better than most humans.
As for Vick he's a SUM BAG that should have been put into a cage with a fighting dog without any type of weapon to defend himself.
Now that would be justice.

How is it that people are so gullible to believe that Vick is actually reformed. You can't be cured of mental illness like this. He killed animals for the fun of it. That's serial killer behavior. Seriously, how is it that people have just forgotten about all of this?
Oh yes, he hired a publicist. I forgot, all is forgiven now because he plays good football. I suppose we should release OJ too, since he was a great player too. Heck, let's just exempt all athletes from morality.
A must for pit bull owners. We may not be able to change things that have happened or continue to happen with animal abuse but it would give me a sense of personal satisfaction every single time I saw a set of 'deadly' jaws wrapped around this toy. There is a special place in hell reserved for abusers of any kind that get their jolly's making other creatures suffer for their amusement.

Yes, there are horrible things going on everywhere. I am currently one of those people serving overseas right now, but that does not mean that Michael Vick should be excused for what he did. It doesn't change the fact that he brutally murdered innocent dogs because they wouldn't entertain him by fighting other dogs. Any way you look at it, he was in the wrong. Yes, he did do some time and lost some money, but that fact that he was allowed back in the NFL sickens me. He is still paying off his debt, but he is making so much money playing football that it will be paid off in no time. He should have to scrape and save to make a living like the rest of us. Being a good football player does not make up for being a horrible human being...
I think part of the resentment of Vick....is jealousy that he is a professional athlete, and he gets paid lots of money for those skills and abilities.
