Information about Don's Accident

I've read every post and really had a hard time even posting up. I'm sure Don tried to avoid this guy as any of the rest of us would have. It's instinct. Why God chose to take Don over this guy is beyond our understanding but it happened. No matter how pissed we are at this guy it'll not bring Don back and that's why I thought about it before I wrote anything. I feel the same way most all of you do but it's not our call. God needed Don for some reason and called him home. It's our loss not Don's. Had to vent a little and sorry if I may have said something wrong but life just don't seem fair sometimes. Shadetree57.

It could be anyone us on our way home that could of encountered this....so yes I understand... just venting!

I was talking to someone today and telling them how I couldn't believe Don was gone and I couldn't believe that there wasn't more to it than Don just having an accident and they told me about some guy trying to commit suicide causing the accident. Thanks Doug for the information. I think most of us knew in our hearts that there was more to this accident.

So very sad. Shameful, selfish behavior, takes one of our own - life is not fair. My heart felt condolences to family and friends.

God Bless

On one hand I Say this is Very SAD Day for all Parties Involved.....Prayers Sent :please:

On the Other hand I Say FRY THE BASTARD :rulez:

:dunno:

God needed Don more than we did... I know that is hard to believe..but the man is obviously a great asset..here or in His kingdom. What we do not understand now, we will.

I did not know him as well as most of you all... but I wish I had. I am thinking of doing something... special... I have been moved.. I am thinking...

Like 911, it is a shame when tragedy moves us and UNIFIES us more than good does.. but then again...maybe that is the silver lining.

We are ALL thinking of you Don and Don's family. Seriously.

It's crazy! what a terrible waste, my deepest heart felt prayers go out to Don's family. Something like this could happen to any of us - that's scary!

Its sad knowing that good people always seem to go first...

I didn't know this guy, but from what I have read on the board about him. This is truely a shame. I just recently went through something like this late last year when I lost a close buddy. So i understand how some of you are feeling. Just try to keep your spirits up, and when you see the family, continue to be there for them.

 RIP

Don't really know what to say, still stunned that he no longer with us.

Thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

pray for the da and the jury..so that justice may be served!

Sherry and Children, my deepest respects to you for this unexpected and devastating turn of events. It is the most troubling of losses when it is so sudden and senseless. May God help you through the difficult times ahead as you try to heal through the loss of a fine man, husband, and father. We all are aghast at the utter callousness that this young man exhibited...and took your cherished one away. When someone is sucicidal, like he was, there pain is so intense that they don't think of action and consequences. It is no excuse or relief of responsibility of this stupid stupid thing he did. So senseless way for a good man to go down...my deepest respects. 2hip

I never met Don,but all I can say after reading that is I wish to send my sincerest condolences to the family in their time of grief..
Tragedy is only thing I can think of right now...

Just yesterday Ninja Killer and myself were sharing our thoughts and good times we've had with Don & Sherry at Eureka Springs and what a skilled rider Don was-a single vehical accident just didn't fit. That road, according to Don himself, was like his driveway. We thought there had to be a deer or maybe a car that crossed the center line and didn't stop???:banghead::banghead:

It's so sad the little value people put on life these days, they don't stop and think of the affect it has on the love ones around them, and the person or persons that may be harmed by their actions.

I am struggling to find the right words to express my sorrow over this incident. But--the words won't come. I never met Don, but I enjoyed his stories and pictures on this site. Why do the REALLY good people have to die so young? Yea--Don sounds like he was young at heart and age!!
