I can't wait either bro. Will prolly work on it most of tomorrow. Spent the day at my lil sis' graduation ceremony. Missed some beautiful ridin' weather today but I wouldn't have missed her graduation for anything. I love my family more than anything, includin' ridin'.
Nope, no progress since those pics. I'll be sure to post some new pics tomorrow. We should get crackin' on it in the mornin'.
Close. It's a shop for me to paint bikes in. I started on my painting skills back when I was 17 years old. That was 17 years ago. Got a pretty good start already.

Workouts are goin' great. I'm fine tuning my diet to my metabolism and really startin' to see some results from the liftin' and cardio. Shouldn't be too much longer before I need some new smaller pants!

We actually got more done than I got pics of. We got the posts all (well, all except four. It got too dark to see.) set and packed, cut the bad ends off the tops of the 4 X 4 posts, and got the corners up to build height with boxed 2 X 4 extensions.
The part of the 4 X 4's that was in the ground under the chicken resort was a little rough. The tops were like new. We bored our post holes and put the best end in the ground. We then cut off the part that had already been underground. We are usin' braced 2 X 4 sandwichs to extend from the tops of the 4 X 4's to the top plate. We're goin' with 8 foot wall height and tapering up to whatever height the trusses taper to in the middle. 12 feet maybe... Man, I originally wanted to go a little bigger with it but Pop talked me down a little. Now that it's takin' shape, 40 X 50 is a pretty big fuggin' buildin'!
It's beginnin' to look a lot like the makings of a shop now!
I'll snap another pic or two tomorrow in the daylight to show where we actually got to today. Man, I'm a wore out ass! I hand packed around all the posts usin' a 5 foot piece of iron pipe. Whew, my shoulders and arms are toast! What a workout!

Thanks, Bill. Here's where we are today with it. Got the top plate almost done down one side. Well, I say "we"... I sorta slept in today. Got woke up by the sound of a nail gun in the back yard. Pop was already out there workin'.
