Eight years later we were in a financial crisis. Was that Clinton's fault as well? Blaming across the aisle is and has been the American way for some time now. At some point somebody has to own their mistakes.
Lol. So by your logic, Trump's economic success is due to Obama's economy? But Bush's failure came from Clinton's bad economy? You can't mix and match logic to suit your argument.
I said Bush Jr. had to deal with 9/11 and the war on terror that was declared in his administration. The previous administrations (notice I said plural) kicked that can down the street until it became 9/11. Bush Sr. could have done a better job when the problem was smaller. Reagan would have.
So we don't know what the economy would have looked like if you take out what Bush Jr. took on. But we'd probably had been in better shape than when Obama took office. Needless to say that effort cost us money. And will take years to dig out of.
Then Obama bailed out the banks in the housing crash. That cost money. Add more years.
Started ObamaCare. Need we say more about the cost of that?
Add more years.
Pulled out of Afghanistan ridiculously badly. Which resulted in a new round of spending on terror.
So add more years.
Then came Trump. Now we add the pandemic cost. Now you add more years.
Now add Ukraine war.
Add more years.
Now forgive student debt. Add more years.
Slow the economy down
Add more years.
Clinton was blessed with a good economy and he chose to defer chyt. So he could look good fiscally. But the dominoes of his decisions began to fall.
And we didn't need the help of a Pandemic and Ukraine. Both admins have been printing $$ out of thin air.
That will add more years.
Now we have Biden that pissed off OPEC so bad they are attempting to get off the USD standard.
We won't be able to print money out of that hole.
