I understand your point that you feel that they deserve a chance to become legal. And that debate has been around awhile. And yes it takes employers to be part of the solution.

How about alright Mr X. You've been here for Z years illegally. If you pay back taxes and get all your proper paperwork done, perhaps that's a good pathway to stay.

The trouble is for every Mr X above, there are legal aliens here, doing it all like they should, that get penalized because Mr X cut into their legal job market. And their legal dues/taxes they paid. Make Mr X pay up his back taxes and now we have some better equalities.

Well it sort of does. Both our countries have an illegal immigrant problem that came about in pretty much the same way.

But we may have political leadership that deals with it differently. What I hope can happen is these ping pong balls (immigrants) don't simply cross our perspective borders because they are legal in one and illegal in another.

And I'll bring up one your Conservative candidate highlighted. You have an immigrant there who chopped up a body in his home country before coming there. Let's say he's there for 10 years and never commits another crime. Should he be allowed to stay?

When we discuss what is legal and what is not... it isn't ping pong... in this case it's about what laws were created for the benefit of the USA citizens that are legally here. These are the people that that live here, work here, raise their children here and support the prosperity and well being of this country in all the forms it takes.

The laws are clearly defined and amended sometimes when necessary to close loop holes. A country without borders and lawlessness isn't really a country... it's sort of like a territory in transition to becoming under somebodies control. Mass importation of people from other countries is disruptive to a countries culture and stability as resources get stretched beyond a certain point.

I read your post and have simply offered my perception of reality, so... ok then... you win.... laws are not clearly defined in order for a country to be governed in the ways people want it governed... got it.

As far as having influence goes... apparently the people have spoken and a reset of our federal government is underway. Millions approve of the changes and many others do not approve... it appears the people that were benefiting from the ways money was distributed are now complaining the loudest because the money is being cut off from the wasteful spending that has been going on for decades.

Our top guy at the US Treasury that was approving all request for federal spending suddenly resigned and gave up his paychecks, employee benefits and pension. The reason he did this isn't clear at this point.... but it is interesting.

You are definitely allowed to offer you perception but what I am saying is your and my conversation in a Hayabusa forum will do absolutely nothing to solve any issues outside of our posts, nor will anything we say be able to influence anyone else's perception of reality....

.....and how do you really know what was or was not spent unless you saw the raw data? Nobody other than Musk and his gang are reporting on this and I trust nothing that comes out of that man.....

If Trump wanted transparency, he could have found an elected independent from one of his republican states to do this search.....it may be more viable if he did....

Like I said, this could open up the possibility for discrimination for those who are bigoted or racist........once you fling open the door, anything can go......he should have taken the time to re-work the policy to better to make it a better fit....

He did offer condolences and then immediately went into his perception of the cause. It didn't take but 2 or 3 minutes. In your original take you missed the start of the video but you weren't wrong as far what was taken from that briefing. It was shameful.

It's unfortunate that you fell prey to selective snippet sourcing. I don't know if they go out of their way to find them or if they just regurgitate it from someone else with the same belief.

It has largely backfired. This is what certainly helped Trump get elected. But 3 weeks into his administration and it's the fallback plan. They've worn out calling everyone names, so let's wear out fake news a little longer.

They have certainly biotched about how Musk has run roughshod over poor little innocent USAID. But not one has biotched about what he has found.

If they are already here and living then that means they didn't respect our country's border when they came here. They knew it was illegal to enter our country with out going through the immigration system we already have set up.

How is is they are working without a USA social security number? If they have a SS #.... whose name is it attached to? Or is it 9 numbers that somebody made up and put on a false SS card that are sold to them from various sources not involved with our SS system?
